Rolling Stones CD:Beggars Banquet Posted by: from: on This is the first in a series of four classic Stones albums. It gave great competition to The Beatles "White Album" in 1968. It came from the same creative well of "Jumping Jack Flash."

Great to hear it again after all these years! Posted by: from: Phila, PA area on I always used to borrow this album from a friend of mine when I was growing up, but I never owned a copy. I've always loved this album though! I feel that this was some of the Rolling Stones' best work around the time period between the late 60's through mid '70's. If you haven't heard it in years or decades like me, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this remastered version! Sounds better than ever!

Must for RollingStone collection Posted by: from: on Lyrically it captures the social and political issue at the time. It's a mix of blues, country, and rock that later becomes Exile on Main Street.
