Extremely disappointed! Posted by: from: on I bought this back in October of 2015. After 5 months, all of the magnetic strips were coming loose and peeling off. I requested a replacement from Belkin. They mailed it to me, and after only 2 days, a couple of the keys were malfunctioning (I'd press them repeatedly before they would function at all). I phoned them and it took an hour with customer service for them to say they'll send me another one. I requested a refund but they wouldn't do that for me since I didn't purchase it from their website. I'm so frustrated and annoyed with this product. If I'm going to spend $150 on a keyboard, it should work properly and be quality for longer than a few months (or a couple of days...). I'm never going to buy another Belkin product again.

Amplifies tablet functionality! Posted by: from: on I have an iPad Air 2 and needed a lighted keyboard, protection for the iPad, multiple viewing angles, sturdy construction, slim profile. This keyboard case is everything that I was looking for! As others had mentioned, when the Bluetooth connection stopped working, I did have to reset the keyboard (by holding down the 4 corner buttons for 5 seconds) and that fixed it immediately. I've only had to do that once and it's been fine since. Great battery life, and a pleasure to type on. I'm pretty careful with my stuff so I don't know if it can take a real beating, but it feels and acts solid and capable. The keyboard has three levels of brightness and the function keys offer lots of options that other keyboard cases do not. Great keyboard cover!!

Didn't work Posted by: from: on My title says it all. I couldn't get the keyboard to turn on, it was a dud.

The Only One Worth Getting Posted by: from: on I've tried every keyboard case, folio, cover, etc. available for the iPad Air 2 (and many others either meant generically for that size class of tablets or really just other tablets entirely, just in case), and this Belkin model is the one least likely to get in the way of my typing I am a writer, so the best possible keyboard is a huge priority for me. When I'm at home, in a desktop setting, I have an array of very nice keyboards I can choose from, but on the go, portability trumps almost everything. Much of my writing time happens away from the desktop, and since my preferred writing apps (Ulysses & Scrivener) now have well behaved iOS versions, I gravitated toward the iPad Air 2 as my core mobile device. The keyboard had to be able to keep up while still being able to fulfill its protective duties. This Belkin isn't an Otterbox but it is top level among svelt, attractive cases, and possibly number one among units that provide a keyboard. It is also very slim for a keyboard unit and is among the best looking cases of any sort, IMO. Most importantly, however, this unit can be typed on, at speed, with only minimal speed bumps due to the size limitations of tablet it encases. On top of that, it's loaded with features such as controllable keyboard backlighting, two positions for the tablet angle where most cases only have 1 (though there are a couple that have more of an any position laptop style hinge that could be advantageous), the ability to flip the tablet into portrait orientation (this is the only cases that can do that as far as I know) or the ability to cleanly switch between keyboarding for the iPad an another Bluetooth enabled device with a key press. Other than just being the best keyboard I've found at this size, it's loaded than more features than any other, all wrapped in attractive, functional package.

Belkin lets me down Posted by: from: on I am reasonably technologically proficient: with five MacBook Pros, four iPads, two iPhone 6's, I've learned enough to keep them all running reasonably well. Purchased the iPad Pro 9.7", which has the same dimensions as the iPad Air 2, so bought this keyboard case. I was initially excited, since I've used a number of Belkin products and have always had pretty good luck. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The case and keyboard are fine -- good fit and finish, and, when the keyboard actually worked, it was a joy to type on. The problem was that the bluetooth connectivity was intermittent at best. After an initial 15 minutes of no problems, the keyboard suddenly decided it would only connect to bluetooth sporadically, if at all. I spent the better part of an afternoon connecting, dropping, reconnecting, then dropping again. Frustrating beyond belief. As much as I appreciate the keyboard and the form factor of the overall case, this one's going back. I'm not going to exchange -- I'm going to switch to another manufacturer all together. That kind of frustration I don't need. Yes, I'm sure Belkin will add its two paragraphs about we're so sorry and thanks for your input, but it doesn't change the fact that this device was a sorry experience.

Good, flexible iPad protection Posted by: from: on I really like the flexibility of this keyboard case allowing you to separate the keyboard from the iPad for times when having the keyboard would make the iPad too thick. I use an Apple Smart cover for those times when I don't want to take the keyboard along. The keyboard adds quite a bit of functionality with backlights, media control and other special keys. My only complaint is that after less than 6 months of use, the rubber on the back of the keyboard has come unglued.

Good Keyboard case Posted by: from: on I have compared this keyboard case to two different cases; the Targus - VersaType and the Zagg clam case. After comparing the two I decided on the belkin. Pros: The battery life is excellent. I've charged it once when I bought it and after a month, it still has 90%. I love the sound flow design, which directs the sound toward you. Cons: I wish the magnet was a little strong to keep the keyboard attached to the iPad. The keyboard does not stay attached very well when picking up the iPad.

An awesome accessory for the iPad Air 2 Posted by: from: on When I read the Belkin Ultimate Pro Keyboard Case offered a backlit keyboard, I knew I'd be hooked. Key comfort is perfect, the battery seems to last forever, and coupled with the auto-correct features of iOS, I'd rather compose on my iPad Air 2 with the Ultimate Pro Keyboard Case than on my MacBook Pro. Not to mention that the case offers excellent protection for the iPad Air 2.

Oops. Didn't fit iPad Air Posted by: from: on A solidly built case - as Belkin products tend to be. Unfortunately, it didn't fit my iPad Air, only the iPad Air2. I think the Zagg Rugged looks similar and has the versatility of fitting several iPad versions.
