Very surprised Posted by: from: on We are running 11 phones. Used to be all Blackberry but eventually moved to Windows phones and Android. We only have 2 Blackberry users left. I have been using a Windows phone (Samsung ATIV S). Our first user has switched to the Priv and it is amazing. Awesome display, SOUND, and camera. Blackberry security and hub features as well as very good keyboard functionality. Large memory. We run 2 Nexus 5's which were my prior favorites and one Samsung Galaxy S6 which is a fabulous phone. I have been waiting for the Lumia 950 but given the Priv is better than the S6 and the Nexus 5, I can't see other than being lazy why I would give up all the options that come with the Priv that are not available on the 950. Only downside is that it is a bit large. But it appears to be of better construction than the 950.

This is an Excellent Business Phone Posted by: from: on I am a professional on the go. The Blackberry Hub and the excellent physical keyboard make this phone a productivity beast. I can breeze through hundreds of emails a day. This phone makes the iPhone look like a toy. The search feature is fantastic and I rarely have any typos using the physicial keyboard. Love the way my sent items and received items all show in the same mailbox. No more switching back and forth between inbox and sent items to figure out whether and to whom a response was sent. This phone also looks like a professional device, not a toy when it is sitting a conference table. This phone also has all the Google Apps, so you can be productive through Blackberry and enjoy the Apps at the same time! Hands down best phone I ever owned. Period.

Greatest Android device & oddly enough BlackBerry Posted by: from: on The greatest BlackBerry and Android device in one. Keyboard - For those who don't like physical keyboards you don't have to use it. It hardly creates any bulk or weight. The virtual keyboard on the device is amazing. It took a few days to get used to but I now work off of the physical keyboard for the most part. I though the keyboard would be too small for my large hands, not the case after a bit of use. The keyboard also doubles as a trackpad! This is amazing. You can use it to move the cursor in text or scroll through pages. OS This is lightly modified and highly secured vanilla Android OS. The best way to do it. Software You can always disable the BlackBerry suite, but why? The hub, contacts, calendar, notes, and Dtek is amazing. Camera One of the best camera's on the market. 18 MP OIS dual flash! I expect BlackBerry to continue updating this device and the software. It is my understanding they can update most of the services through Play Store, so no carrier requirements. They also plan to send out security patches and OS updates monthly! There are a few notification issues, but that's nothing due to BlackBerry. It is an Android issue and it appears BlackBerry has created the bones to fix these settings. LOVE IT!

The best of both worlds Posted by: from: Seattle on I was a long-time BlackBerry and Palm user and had more or less given up on having a high-end phone with a physical keyboard running Android. Then the Priv happened. Fantastic battery life, gorgeous display, great camera, a physical keyboard, and access to Google Play. This is what I wanted from BlackBerry about three years ago, and it's finally here!

Reliable and smooth android smartphone Posted by: from: on General Observations: Even with 808 its much smoother than my 5x. Camera is good but not great in par with 5x/6p. I got march 2016 security update even before my unlocked Nexus 5X! Really good phone. Physical keyboard works great when ever I use it. Slower typing speeds but much more accurate. Battery life is gd enough for my use case. Pros: Excellent support from Blackberry. Gaming GPU performance awesome for 808 device. Beyond my expectations. Build quality top notch. Excellent haptic feedback. Reminds me of my old HTC Desire HD days. Great ergonomics compared to Apple iphone 6/6s plus. Cons: No finger print support. A Tad bit too big in size. I would prefer if it were smaller by an 0.2 inch. No date on Marshmellow or Android N dates published by blackberry. But I have more hope on BB than likes of Samsung.

Best Android Device Posted by: from: on Blackberry has somehow taken their software and layered it into the bare Android O/S. The display on this device is stunning. The front facing speaker is also wonderful and the speakerphone is probably one of the best. The build quality of this device is remarkable. I now remember why Blackberry was king for so long. And, the extra's like a dedicated "mute" button, brilliant.

Great Phone for working Posted by: from: on It's a wonderful Phone if used for working purpose, the fisic keyboard helps you a lot when writting emails or working on word or Excel, if you're loking for a Phone for playing, taking photos of all u see this Phone isn't for you, but if you need it for working It's your best choice! I'm very happy with my BlackBerry Priv, my Last Phone was the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and i'll stay with BlackBerry It's better for my necesites.
