Good for What I Need Posted by: from: Delaware on Was looking for something easy to use and comfortable for upcoming trips. We "tested" it on a short trip and, just not having the neck pain from the original strap made this purchase worthwhile! Fits comfortably. Easy to attach. Parts appear sturdy. Price was right for what I need. So much better than hanging the camera around my neck. Camera hangs low enough that it is out of the way. It can be grabbed quickly for taking photos without having to remove it from the strap. Although I would have liked a little thicker/wider padding for the shoulder portion of the strap, this works for me, since I am a casual photographer.

Excellent strap for all photographers! Posted by: from: on I love the versatility of this camera strap. It allows you to adjust where you would like your camera to hang while on the go. Then when you are ready to start shooting, just slide the camera on the strap to eyesight. Attachment of strap to camera feels very secure, with easy screw in to bottom. I would definitely recommend this strap to anyone who likes to take photos on the go!

Works great! Posted by: from: on I purchased this strap for my Nikon 5300 and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I took a three week European trip and while in crowds and moving around and getting on and off busses and all still while carrying a backpack I had zero trouble grabbing. My camera and sliding it up to take a picture.

Worth the buy Posted by: from: on The strap itself does the job. Not the best I've used but for the price it's a steal

Comfy and Convenient Posted by: from: on I've used this for walking around casually in cities and on trails in parks. I have to say this is very comfy and a huge step above the strap that comes with my camera (Canon EOS 80D). The shoulder pad is soft, even on bare skin. It is easy to put on your camera as it screws into the bottom where you would mount it to a tripod. The design also allows you to slide the camera up to take a quick picture effortlessly. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting an accessory that makes it easier to carry your camera around.

Excellent quality but not a fan of the mount Posted by: from: on This is a tough product to rate so i will just make it subjective, how i feel about it personally. I say that because some people love it and some like me, won't. To be fair, the construction is fantastic it's a bit pricey but there is a reason, it is solid. The locking carabiner has a screw lock and then a plastic gate lock. I've never had an issue with this coming loose. The problem is more so, the d-ring that screws into the tripod mount. This d- ring can and does come loose over time, especially when the camera is constantly swinging back and forth which is inescapable. This is not my biggest gripe, the D Ring getting loose is not confined to this product alone so i'm not even faulting it there- i just put some removable thread locker on the screw and it hasn't been a problem since. The biggest flaw for me is that there is only one attachment point to the camera. Being there is only one point of contact, the camera will swing, a lot, it's super annoying. Some don't mind, i do. I could live with the camera being upside down but having the camera swing back and forth or hit into me as i walk just defeats the purpose of this strap for me. I wanted it to make carrying my camera comfortable, secure, and accessible. It hits 2 of the 3 but that is not enough. This is where there is difference of opinion. I am currently trying and looking for different solutions, feel free to comment if you know of any!

Comfortable and Sturdy Posted by: from: on For years I had the stock camera strap that hangs awkwardly around your neck. It's fine for short amount of time, but when you plan on shooting for several hours, this BlackRapid strap is a must a have. If you're at an amusement park and plan to stay there all day and lug your dSLR, this is a lifesaver. It hangs out of your way by your hip and completely adjustable. It's sturdy and not once did I feel like the camera was insecure. The strap goes over your shoulder and is relatively comfortable. After eight consecutive hours of it dangling on my shoulder, it did start to hurt a little, so I switched shoulders. That would of (and has happened) a lot sooner with my old neck strap (to the point I had to constantly take it off my neck). This product is a great and inexpensive way to massively upgrade your stock strap for any dSLR. Very happy with my purchase.
