Finally released on video Posted by: from: ccrz on This set has been available on cd for years, but this video was just recently released. The lineup of guest artists is a who's who of music, paying tribute to Dylan. The last set when Dylan joins in is worth the price of the disc alone.

Rock history lesson Posted by: from: Ocala, Fl on Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Neil Young, Roger McGuinn and Tom Petty all on stage together and all sing a verse from My Back Pages. Liner notes are excellent. Listing of players for each song. House band includes GE Smith, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Steve Cropper and Jim Keltner. Other players drop in for a song or two like Kenny Aronoff, Don Was, Mickey Raphael and Sheryl Crow. List of artists that perform is basically the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This show date was October 16, 1992. A handful of performers from that show are gone today like Harrison, Dunn, Johnny Cash, Levon Helm, Richie Havens, Lou Reed, Howie Epstein and Rick Danko. Have I dropped enough names? Go get this disc and enjoy the show!

This was a great tribute concert Posted by: from: Ronkonkoma, NY on Blu-Ray accentuated the visual and musical perfection of the evening. Many favorites who have since passed on performed such as George Harrison, Lou Reed, Johnny Cash, Richie Havens & Levon Helm made this even more special. I'm glad they waited this long to release it because it seemed like not a a tribute to Dylan but also to the artists who performed his music that night several years ago.

Great all-star concert Posted by: from: Port Orchard, WA on I attended this concert and have been waiting for them to re-release it for some years now. It was a phenomenal show with many of my personal musical heroes. It's great to hear Dylan's music interpreted by some of the great artists he influenced (Clapton's "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" is a standout). I would recommend this concert to any fan of Bob Dylan or just great music!!

BobFest Posted by: from: Los Angeles on This is an amazing lineup of artists and bands paying tribute to one of the best songwriters. In fact many of them are legends themselves and some of them are alive no more! This should count as one of the best tribute concerts! There should be a "BobFest 50 years and counting". I definitely recommend this album to "Real" music fans!

It's Dylan Posted by: from: toledo, oh on Some of the reviews I had read commented about a yellowish color. If you look at the intro to I Shall Be Released by Chrissie Hynde, you can see that was the lighting they had as part of the stage set-up. (ps - she did great job on the song) Not necessarily a big Dylan fan, but I'm glad to have the DVD in my collection.
