Good quality Toner Posted by: from: on I do IT for a living and have sadly found that most if not all remanufactured or compatible toners are usually not as good as the factory toner for whatever model of printer you own. It has been my experience that they usually don't live up to their advertised page count and I have had a lot of them leak toner inside the printer. Until there are any reman cartridges that are as good as the OEM ones I have found it better to just bite the bullet and buy the OEM toner and accept it. I do find that Brother black and white printers are pretty economical to run since they use a separate drum and toner cartridge. Most other printers have the two combined so the cartridges are more expensive to purchase and on the final per page price. I use Brother fax machines at work and Brother printers at home and have been happy with them in both situations.

Easy to install Posted by: from: Topeka, KS on This was the first time we needed to replace the toner in our laser printer. The process was quite easy and the printer works fine.

Does the Job Posted by: from: on It’s difficult to get too excited about a toner cartridge but these do the job. They are not TOO insanely expensive and are very easy to change. The biggest complaint that I would have with the whole system is that the printer sends a ‘low toner’ message to the computer way too early. I guess getting a cartridge and having it waiting is better but a month of dismissing ‘low toner’ messages is certainly annoying.

Easy toner to replace Posted by: from: on I wasn't sure what to expect in replacing a toner on a laser printer. It came with good directions and replacing it went very easy. No problems

Good toner but wrong category (inkjet) in BestBuy Posted by: from: New York, NY on I got Brother Laser printer after I finally got tired of buying Epson MFC inkjet cartridges with electronic chips. Laser printer is costly in the beginning but its quality is much sharper/better and it doesn't smudge if there's a little moisture. Also I don't want to deal with inkjet cartridges anymore. Unfortunately I need to spend more in advance compared to inkjet printer cost. And I could not find this toner under the laser toner category in Best Buy online but finally I found it under inkjet category. Best Buy online should fix this. I used to have Epson printer. Sometimes the Epson ink dried out if I didn't use the printer for a while. Sometimes I printed only a few pages, the chips told me that I ran out of ink. And worse if one ink is out, then I cannot print anything. I never want to buy any Epson printer anymore. HP printer has a good printing quality in general & better print quality compared to Epson but my past experience with HP inkjet printer, the ink cartridges ran out quickly. So it's not cost efficient but I got the worst experience with Epson inkjet printer and (as well as cheap Canon inkjet printer).

FOUND A PRINTER IN DON'T HAVE TO REPLACE Posted by: from: on PRIOR TO THE BROTHER PRINTER I WAS REPLACING PRINTERS EVERY YEAR, IF NOT SOONER. THIS PRINTER HAS BEEN WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR THE WHOLE TIME. EASY TO USE, MAKES GREAT COPIES, COMPATIBLE WITH MY IPHONE AND TABLET. I LOVE THE SCAN CAPABILITIES. HAVEN'T HAD TO REPLACE IT

Perfect Posted by: from: on I have tried aftermarket brands and nothing beats the performance of the factory toner. Sure you could save money. But, the hassle and the mess. Spotty reliability on the aftermarket as well. Genuine Brother toner is the only way to go!
