Go behind the cameras! - For the first time ever, Sascha Baron Cohen and director Larry Charles reveal how they pulled off their dangerous stunts with celebrities, politicians and other unsuspecting people
Brüno Borat trickster Sacha Baron Cohen returns to the big screen to offer yet another stinging dose of sociopolitical satire in this comedy that finds him assuming the persona of gay fashionmonger Bruno, the self-proclaimed "voice of Austrian youth TV." Originally conceived as part of Baron Cohen's cult television series Da Ali G Show, the character of Bruno offered a cleverly costumed Baron Cohen the opportunity to highlight the absurdities of the fashion industry by interviewing unsuspecting fashion icons and other haute couture hangers-on. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Hilarious Follow Up to Borat

Sasha Baron Cohen is a genius who gets very ignorant people to do hilarious things on film and this movie/mokumentary does not disappoint.

I admit I was slightly entertained by Borat, but this "movie" was just pure sophmoric garbage. Nothing redeemable about it.

Shock and Awe

I'm a fan of Sacha Cohen and liked what he did with Borat. But feel he missed the mark on this recent attempt at social commentary on homophobia. Prepare to be shocked and appalled.

Definitely worth buying

Although this movie's reputation got ruined by word of mouth, if you know what Da Ali G Show was supposed to represent, or if you have a real sense of humor, then this movie is for you. They had to cut a lot of the movie to become an R rating, but all the removed scenes are in the extras. The commentary gives a full length explanation of the stunts and it exceeds to almost 2 hours. I saw it 3 times in theaters and I was counting down the days until it was released on DVD.

If you liked Borat...
Posted by: MaxPower0001 from: St. Paul, MN on
Plain and simple, if you liked Borat, you're going to love Bruno. There are tons of dirty scenes (and they only black out the private parts), plenty of swearing and nudity, and can be extremely offensive. HOWEVER, if you're one of those people who can look past all that, you're going to find this movie extremely hilarious. It's one of those movies I'm almost ashamed to admit I like it.

A little on the iffy side if you don't see 'gay' jokes as being funny.
I could not stop laughing!!!!
Never walk into a bar and yell "HI I'M BRÜNO". It's just a bad idea.
Your Review Tips -
Profanity or spiteful remarks
Obscene or distasteful content
(Well, Then You Haven't Seen BRÜNO Yet.)
