A retired showman attempts to round up his old troupe in order to stage a big reunion show, but faces an unexpected challenge when they refuse to participate unless he also includes his estranged son in this lighthearted comedy from France. The year is 1985. Marcel is a hard-drinking former entertainer whose finances have hit rock bottom, and whose wife has been gone for over a week before he even realizes it. Desperate and alone, he heads to Montreal, where he presents aging drag queen Lady Moon, sharp-tongued comic Lucy, and foul-mouthed crooner Roger with an opportunity to try and resurrect their old Burlesque show. But while the proposal sounds enticing, the trio won't agree unless Marcel invites his son Pedro to join in the act as well. Unfortunately Marcel and Pedro don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to Burlesque, but as they attempt to set their differences aside in the name of putting on a show, everyone involved learns that together they make quite an impressive team. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
