Many, many options Posted by: from: on Love this camera! Bought this camera for my first DSLR. It has so many features to choose from for settings and I love the live view settings. After playing around with the options for a couple days, I was successful taking pictures on a weekend vacation. Some friends thought I've been taking photos for a long time! Only downside is that the camera is a little heavier that I'd like, but for the fine detail and imaging it can provide, priceless.

fairly easy to use! Posted by: from: on i purchased this camera b/c i had a digital canon Rebel that was about 10 years old. i wanted an updated version that had video as well as the ability to send pictures to my phone without having to put on my computer first. The camera has been very similar to use--probably a little more camera than i needed, but i love to take action shots of my kids in sports. we also were just about to take a vacation out west and i wanted to use it for this. i am very pleased at how the pictures turned out. the one problem i had was figuring out how to download to my computer. after calling and realizing you have to disable the wifi on the camera before downloading, i figured it out! wish that was written on the instruction booklet page where is says to 'download' images to computer--apparently it is written on the wifi page. i think it is a very good camera and hope it lasts me another 10 years like my first one!!

Great Upgrade Posted by: from: on I would consider myself an advanced hobbyist photographer. The Rebel line suits my needs perfectly -- high quality photographs and affordability. I have been shooting with the t2i (which I have really enjoyed) for a number of years. During that time, I have kept track of Canon's upgrades in the Rebel line. This is the first camera I considered as having enough upgrades to put out the money for a new SLR camera. I am soooo happy with my new t6i. The high number of pixels make the shots extremely sharp. It performed well under poor lighting without a flash. I decided to pay a little bit more and get the package that included the 18-135mm lens. Good savings if you need that lens. Bottom line -- GREAT UPGRADE!!! One teeny tiny disappointment, and this is no reflection on the camera. There is no app to link the camera to a Windows phone. Phone's fault, not the camera's fault. Has anybody out there found a work-around?

Great Camera, go with 18-135 vs 18-55 Posted by: from: on Camera is a go. Shoots high quality video and pictures with the kit lens. Go with this over the 18-55. 55mm is barley close enough for portrait.

Great Camera Posted by: from: on I am a beginner at photography, and really only use my camera to take pictures of family for memories. However, it has been wonderful for my purpose. It takes the most beautiful pictures, and you can just never use your phone camera again. This is going to far outdo any point and shoot camera or phone. This camera produces a high quality image, and I am so happy with the purchase. I was shooting pics of my nieces and nephew on the trampoline in sport mode, and I have some spectacular images to get framed! It is so worth it to me to spend this money on something as priceless as memories.

Wonderful for amateurs Posted by: from: on I love the addition of the screen that rotates. Really good for vlogging, self portraits, and more. I love using this with self timer and remote. The camera is made to be more user friendly and I definitely can attest to that. The quality is impressive, and the lens is a good lens if you're looking to only be carrying one around with you. Definitely ywould recommend (:

Thrilled Posted by: from: on This was a gift for my daughter. We purchased it in store after being extensively educated by a Best Buy salesperson who himself was a photographer. I was impressed with the time the Best Buy associate gave my daughter. She was able to make a informed decision and is in love with this camera. She is a professional makeup artist and does photos shoots. The images taken with this camera are amazing. I purchased the extended warranty for her and would recommend this as it is an expensive item and it gives one the extra protection.

Great Camera for Beginner Posted by: from: on Takes great pictures with fast focus and great lenses. I love the fact that you can begin with nearly everything automatic and then gradually, through experimentation, play with aperture and shutter speed combos to find your perfect settings for various light and depth of field conditions.

I LOVE this camera. Posted by: from: on I LOVE this camera. I couldn't buy it at the American Fork store because they have little in stock in their camera department, so I had to have it shipped. The camera itself is amazing! Thank you Canon.
