Cool little gadget Posted by: from: Las Vegas, NV on This item was bought for use with my Canon EOS T2i/550d. It was a bit pricey @ $41.99, but it was available locally. The Wireless Remote works perfectly and gives me an opportunity to do long astronomical exposures using the camera's "bulb" setting without the need for wires or a laptop to control the camera. Click once to start the exposure, click again to stop. When using the camera's built-in exposure times, single click operation was wonderful. Using this cool little gadget keeps me from jostling my telescope and causing blurry images. The remote gives me complete, hands-free operation. As long as you have "line of sight" to the front of your camera, it works great. From off angles or behind, it did not work. The remote also worked great with my son's T3i/600d.

A good accessory to have! Posted by: from: Florissant on I could have gotten this at a cheaper price somewhere else, but Best Buy had it locally in stock and I needed it quick. It does what the advertising says it will do. I bought it so i could shoot night time pics of fireworks going off of Pikes Peak at midnight without jostling the camera. Unfortunately, this was the first year in decades the weather was too bad to shoot them off, so I was in a rush for nothing! But I'm glad I have this useful accessory.

USEFULL AND CONVENIENT TO HAVE! Posted by: from: on My boyfriend bought me this for my Canon t5i and I love it. It's useful and convenient to have when your trying to photograph babies. It comes with a little pouch that you can attach to the camera strap for easier access. It has a little switch on the back of it, one for a 2 second delay and the other for an instant pic. It says that it does not come with a battery but mine did which I thought was odd but I still bought extra just in case. It requires C2032 battery, Best Buy does sell them. I do wish the range was further than 10ft but I would still recommend the product. For those who don't know how to set it up, its very simple. Just go onto your DSLR setting, the option where it give you to either select to take a single photo, multi-photos, self-timer, etc your going to select the one that has a little remote with what it looks like a Wi-Fi symbol. Once that's all done, just point it on the side of the camera sensory and you're good to go.

Super gadget! Posted by: from: North Dakota on GREATS: Great gadget to have when photographing small children and large groups. Also great when you are in the picture as you can take multiple shots without having to go and reset the timer. One drawback: You do have to point the remote directly at the front of the camera- so you cannot be standing beside the camera when using the remote like you can with the "corded" versions.

Great ! Posted by: from: on Had bought an off brand elsewhere to save a couple bucks that ended up not working at all. Went down to Best Buy to make sure it was not just me. Nope! The Canon brand works slicker than a whistle, is on the money, easy to use, and no problems! Better to just buy the best one.

Works great with my camera. A Must Have Posted by: from: on I am very happy with my remote, It allows me to easily take semi-professional pics with my husband on our adventures. I use it all the time. I did our engagement pics myself and everyone wanted to know who took the pictures. Has a great range for maneuverability.

Inexpensive Option Posted by: from: on Recently started experimenting taking night shots and wanted something other than using the camera timer. The Canon wireless remote is a good option and far less expensive than using other remote options. PS: Mine did come with the battery so you may want to check the remote before purchasing a battery.

Does the job Posted by: from: on Does the job well, just be sure to put your camera in the right setting for remote shooting or it wont work at all. Only problem I have with it is the range being very limited. I get about 20ft before it wont work anymore. Granted thats a long way but their are always those shots were you need more length. Overall great product.
