Ingala strikes high marks with smooth jazz sounds
Posted by: Robb08 from: Minneapolis, MN on
If you are into smooth jazz saxophone artists, Vincent Ingala's Can't Stop Now is highly recommended. Ingala's unique blend of sax, keyboard, guitar and percussion are a joy to listen. Top songs include his own composition/arrangement on Can't Stop Now (title track), If I Could Fly and Wish I Was There. Usually there are always one or two songs to forget on most albums, but in this case all nine songs can be enjoyed. Ingala also brings in some recognizable names in the Smooth Jazz world including Gregg Karukas (On Groovin' U) and Jonathan Fritzen (Kimi Trick) to bring in their own style to mix with Vincent's special sax sounds. I have listened to many Contemporary Jazz sax artists over the years from Boney James to Dave Koz. However, I see great things for Vincent Ingala due to his ability to compose, arrange and most important, to play his music with feeling and passion. Again, if you want a Smooth Jazz album to chill out in front of the fireplace or on a warm summer evening by the lake, this is the one for you!
