The guys cranked out another great CD full of hits! I feel like I'm going back 30 years ago, down the road in my Z-28, listening to my favorite rock and roll - cranked. A little old school, but nothing wrong with that. Joe does a lot of melodic guitar riffs and Sammy tears it up with his awesome vocals. Some of my favorites songs are Bigfoot, Up Next, Dubai Blues. Also, I think you will like the accompaning DVD and the 3D art work on the cover, it is fun. You can't go wrong with this purchase since you get the biggest bang for your buck.

A nice follow-up to their first effort

Not Van Halen, or even Van Hagar, but Chickenfoot! Which is just what I (and most others who buy this album) want. I have already put it in my car stereo and driven with it loud, and that, like their first album, is when they sound the best. It has some softer ballads, not necessary, but still inspired. But "Big Foot", "Lighten Up", and "Alright Alright" really stand out as songs that worked. "Three and A Half Letters" musically is great. It's just that lyrically it seemed forced and made the song seem like more a PSA than a cry for change. Overall, great effort, great playing (Joe Satriani is always on) , and to hear Sammy and Michael Anthony harmonize is worth the buy. I just wish that Chad Smith was touring with them. But, do yourself a favor, if you liked the first one, pick this one up as well. It may just be a classic in the making.
