Outstanding Posted by: from: on I don't even now where to begin. Destiny is the only game that has kept my attention and passion over the last 2 years. The game is amazing and it's one of the highlights of my day. So much replay-ability, longevity, endless loot, great story, great economy and the community is great too. Destiny is still the best console game in my opinion. Don't sell yourself short and get this game. You will honestly thank me later. You will never truly complete the game. So much loot, so many things to do and places to explore. If you're just starting out, DON'T buy this, but buy the "Destiny Collection" because the new DLC is coming out on Sept. 20th 2016. That bundle includes access to it! I could sit here and tell you endless stories about my adventures in Destiny, but this page would explode. Its such an addictive game, I won't se anyone putting this game on the shelf. It IS the flagship game for consoles.

Well Done Game Posted by: from: on I started with the FPS genre back in 1994 with Wolfenstein 3D. I haven't played much in the last 10 years though because I was getting bored with so much of the some old thing and the military FPS wasn't my interest. Destiny has brought me back to the gaming community. They have tried something incredibly difficult; merge the MMO and FPS genres into a unified experience. IMO they have done an excellent job. Whether you want to work through one of the several storylines, work on team play through quests, match up against other players in arena play, or just vent out the day's frustrations by making things go BOOM! then Destiny has you covered. It's probably the most fun I've had with a FPS since Quake II. The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are excellent. The servers have seemed reliable for the 6-8 weeks I've been playing. The developers have been good about fixing glitches. Because of the nature of the PvE and PvP styles, there's some "learn as you go," regarding game balance. However, looking at the (sometimes passionate) debates on the Bungie forums, I'd say they are doing pretty darn good. If you're new to the game and you need a strike team member to help on a mission, then my nickname is my xbone gamertag.

Worth the investment Posted by: from: CO on Let's be honest no game is perfect; if you are the few who have not played Destiny or have not played it since House of Wolves then I definitely recommend giving it another try! I admit the story is pretty poor; however in terms of FPS-RPG this is a very good game. Bungie has made major changes with each expansion and most were for the better; I expect the Taken King to be well received based on the changes they have announced. The fact you can buy the game + all expansions for the price of the base game originally, this is a steal and despite all the hate you see on other reviews most of these people have 100+ hours of gameplay (worth!) or they quit immediately and didn't play it long enough to even understand it. TLDR: Give it a try; it is not the same game from Beta.

Fun game - Steeper learning curve Posted by: from: Denver, CO on A fun shooter. Note that the learning curve (knowing where to go and what to do) can be a bit strenuous if you've never played a game like this before. I bought the game so I could play with my son. Thankfully, he came over and helped me get everything set up and explained the game. If looking online for YouTube help, the video I watched was proliferated with bad language

The digital addiction known as Destiny. Posted by: from: on Destiny has been out for 1.5 years and still runs strong. Millions of daily players still play a variety of modes in the game. The next expansion will be released on September 20th, 2016. It is already stirring up excitement in the Destiny community. The next expansion will only be available on PS4 and X1 however, so now is the time to upgrade. Playstation also has the rights to timed exclusives in game, for weapons and exclusive armor. I play on both systems currently, but most likely will be a PS4 only player when Destiny 2 hits the streets in 2017.

Great Time Waster Posted by: from: on Came into the game fairly late into the cycle so it can be hard to find people to play the earlier raids with. Over all a good time waster but not that great. I could only imagine how early buyers felt because it still feels sparse on content.

Fantastic Game Posted by: from: Anchorage, AK on I didn't buy Destiny when it was released but this deal was too good to pass up. Destiny and all expansions up to the one that was just released this past week. Reminds me a lot of Halo. Lots of fun especially since I have so many friends playing it.

If you love Destiny you'll enjoy this! Posted by: from: on Pros: Great DLC expansion for Destiny, which includes plenty of new weapons and challanges. If you're planning on playing the expansion DLC Rise of Iron you will need The Taken King also. Only con is the game is a grind and repetitive so I recommend taking time away from it and play other games so you won't be burnt-out on it and will enjoy coming back a few times a week to play. Enjoy!

Very good product so far Posted by: from: on Not happy that we have to keep buying the game since we already own it, dc would be better and not take functionality away if we don't purchase

This game may be your DESTINY Posted by: from: on This game has a nice quest and rpg elements mixed with a good shooter gameplay. The visuals and music of this game also are the best around. Shares similarities in gameplay and questing as borderlands and other fps rpgs.
