Best Buy Customer Reviews

First time yogurt maker Posted by: from: on I never made yogurt before and had grown disgusted with the brand I was buying at the grocery store. It was too chalky and has a lot of sugar in it. So out of desperation I ordered the yogurt maker. I'm happy that I did because now I have a great yogurt to eat.

Exactly as it was described. Posted by: from: on Very useful in making better tasting than store bought yogurt.

Jars not well designed Posted by: from: Tucson, AZ on The jars have inside surfaces that defy hand washing. I have to use a bottle brush to get into the crevices. I wish the jars were slightly bigger, but all the yoghurt makers use jars the same size. The listing is misleading: the unit does not have a timer. You have to plug it into a timer, which is probably better anyway because if it had a built-in timer and the timer failed then the whole unit would be useless.

Easy to use. Take longer time than recommended Posted by: from: eau claire wi on Had made several batches since got it 6 weeks ago. The first few batches were very successful. The recent two batches were not as thick, maybe due to shorter time (10 hrs). The earlier batches used 11-12 hours.
