Bethesda Did It Again. Posted by: from: on I have 20+ hours into this game right now and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. It is another well made game by Bethesda. There are a few bugs here and there. But as long as you're quick saving like a mad man, it's no big deal to reload and then the bug has usually disappeared. You are definitely going to get your money's worth out of this game. I got the gold bundle which included the season pass and socks. If you are upset that you missed out on the Pip Boy edition, I absolutely recommend this bundle. You could put one of the socks on your hand and pretend you have a pip boy while playing all the extra content you get from the season pass*, and you can put all the money you saved in the other sock. *playing your Xbox with a sock on one of your hands may result dropping your controller, and dying more often in game.

Buy it! Posted by: from: on I really dig how it's going so far. The first part of the story was pretty intense, some may, call it slow, but if you're really into role playing story line it gives you a insight before everything goes wrong. They did a good job with the character creation. You can get pretty close into making yourself or get totally imaginative. I wish they took that a little bit farther in which you could modify some of the hairstyles, but youre stuck with what the Dev's gave you. Also be nice they also gave you the whole RGB for hair color. If you can, download the Pip Boy app, it connects easily and it's a nice way of seeing the map: local and world - along with setting waypoints, checking your status I've found it quite useful at least. Watch out for ghouls, I feel like theyre a bit more vicious, you're dog can at least drag them down for you, which makes them easier to kill.

Extremely jealous... Posted by: from: on .... that I didn't come up with this idea as a film or a book or something before these games came out. Ignore for the fact that I wasn't old enough to hold a job of my own when the series first started, I'm extremely envious that I wasn't involved in the creative process. You ever get that feeling when playing a video game? That you wish you were born 10 years earlier to see your name when the credits roll at the end of the game? That's Fallout 4.

Fallout Posted by: from: on Fallout 4 is a amazing huge open world game this game has mod support which make this good even better. Be careful not to use too many mod if can make the game unplayable with the constant freezing.

Not a wife friendly game Posted by: from: on This game is not very wife friendly as it is just too good and will suck enormous amounts of time out of any relationship, healthy or otherwise. I should probably give it just 1 star to do my part to help keep our social fabric intact, but life is just s omuch more fun trekking across post-apocalyptic landscapes and swatting giant, radioactive roaches.

Feels like Fallout Posted by: from: on I've spent plenty of time in the Fallout 4 wasteland searching for junk to create weapon mods; hunting down technology; fighting super mutants, synths, deathclaws, mole rats and more; completing missions, running around with human and non-human companions; rescuing; witnessing random events and having fun exploring the wasteland. If you have a Windows PC capable of running this game at high/ultra settings, I would say buy the PC version. If not, this version is just as fun. just not as visually pleasing. :P

Back to the Fallout I love Posted by: from: on I'm not sure about you, but Fallout 3 was one of my favorite games when it came out. I would get lost for hours looking through every nook and cranny to find all the loot the expansive Wasteland had to offer. Once FO3 and I finally parted ways, I couldn't wait for the next game in the series to also blow my mind...then came New Vegas... *boos and hisses*...what a dud! When I heard the news of Fallout 4's release, I will be honest, I was still a bit bitter. But as it is with some game franchises (mostly Madden and FIFA) I am a sucker for getting the newest addition upon release. With Fallout 4, I am happy to report that my expectations have been hugely exceeded! I'm only 3 days of game play into my new obsession, but it is safe to say that this little disc of blackmagic has got me by the soul. Well done, Bethesda, well done.

Put it on your short list Posted by: from: on I've logged over 50 hours so far and it's been a great ride. The story is pretty solid and the Wasteland is as fun to explore as ever. The new perk system is more like Skyrim than Fallout 3, but that's okay as it greatly streamlines character building but still provides suitable flexibility for different approaches to gameplay. The first DLC, Automatron, is a little short, but adds the ability to create your own fleet of custom robot followers. Want to have Sentry Bot pack mule with twin missile launchers and an Assaultron eye laser attack? You can! The Wasteland Workshop is a decent add-on for settlement building enthusiasts, and Far Harbor, which will add a whole new island to explore looks like a blast.

Great single player game Posted by: from: on A little late to the fallout party but glad I'm with it now. Great game and got it with the program so I didn't pay 20 bucks for fallout 3 and 4 (fallout 3 was included as well). It will keep me busy at least until cod comes out.
