Good looking and quiet

Nice looking, stainless steel finish. The noise reduction package is great - my son didn't even realize I had run it except that the dishes were always clean. Interior stainless steel tub will negate any rust.

Very nice small dishwasher

The black exterior looks great in my kitchen. This is the quietest dishwasher that I have ever owned. It cleans the dishes well.

I shopped Sears, Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy. This unit provided many high end features for a small premium (circa $100) over basic units. It's very quiet, being about as noisy as the bubblers in an aquarium. The dual level sprays really assure the top rack gets clean. I very, very happy to get away from the lever to lock the door. The door gasket design looks superior on the door and I expected a longer gasket life. The stainless interior makes me smile every time I look at it. The unit has many energy saving features that you can also investigate. I'll never buy the cheapest available unit again. This unit provides the best value of modest price and features that I've seen.

Stainless steel interior???
Posted by: ammom from: Cherry Hill NJ on
I like this dishwasher but was told it's a "stainless steel" interior. The inside of the door is NOT stainless...I guess the inside of the door is not considered "interior". That disappointed me greatly.

We were looking for an inexpensive dishwasher to replace one we'd purchased less than 6 years before that had simply stopped working. The old one's interior was plastic and had already turned yellow and the seal around the door was disintegrating so we were excited to find that this one has a stainless steel tub. We like it because it's quiet, the front is very understated and it was affordable.
When we went to load our dishes, though, we discovered that the dish racks are designed in such a way that they severely limit our ability to fully utilize the space. The manual shows how you can load a 12-piece place setting and that's great but most families just need to wash random bowls, plates, glasses, silverware and pots and pans 99% of the time. It's almost impossible to fit all of our family of 4's dishes from one day in one load. I generally end up washing at least one pot or our plastic ware because there's no room on the top rack for it and the bottom rack has prongs so rigidly placed that pots won't fit without wasting a lot of space. I would like to see some sections of the lower prongs be able to fold down flat so you can arrange pots close together.
The silverware caddy is another source of frustration as every piece of silverware must be placed in a seperate slot. The holes in the caddies are so big that small items like straws from sippy cups just fall right out so I end up washing small plastic items by hand as well.
Finally, the first several times we tried to wash a load it would stop at some point and lights would start flashing. The manual said that was normal the first time but it took us washing several loads multiple times to make sure they were clean and rinsed and a lot of tinkering with the install before it would wash a load all the way through and dry it, too. It seems to be working ok now but the manual says the most heavy-duty load takes less than 90 minutes to complete and our normal loads take 96 minutes to cycle through. That seems excessive to me but nowhere in the manual is this addressed (and I've read the entire thing several times).

So far Great
Posted by: daveguy1200 from: lincoln, NE on
Got this unit about a month ago and have had no issues with it. Very quiet and cleans dishes very well. Very easy to install, it had the hose I needed and all I had to do was take a 90° fitting off my old dishwasher. Takes a little long to run through a cycle, If you let the hot water run before starting it take less time to go through the cycle. Very nice overall, I only paid $275.00 for this $500.00 unit, because it had a very small scratch on the front panel.

washes great but a bit small

Does a great job cleaning dishes. Very quiet. Great price considering has a stainless steal tub. Only issues are that it is a bit small, standard cycle is long. Rack is not adjustable and sometimes hard to fit certain items in easily.

We've been using this dishwasher for a little less than a month now, and so far, no disappointments. It is shallower and shorter than many others, and therefore good for tight installations. Nevertheless, it seems to swallow a lot of dishes, cups, etc., perhaps because of the narrow spacing of plate holding prongs. (Maybe that's why some have trouble arranging items.) There are holding racks for stem ware (or use as a shelf for small cups), and lots of room for knives, spoons, forks, etc. Tub and door are indeed stainless, not like comments re units bought years ago. The unit is very quiet. Finally, everything is cleaned really well, even spoons nestled together. We're happy.

Quiet Dishwasher - Does a great job
Posted by: UVTraveler from: WRJ, Vermont on
I wanted to wait to be sure I knew the pros and cons of this dishwasher. We bought this last July so we now have 6 months use.
This was an excellent price point for a dishwasher with a stainless steel tub. The multiple washing levels gets the dishes and glasses clean. We use the top rack for large utensils. It so quiet that at times we wonder if it on. The delay start allows us to run the washer after midnight and we no longer hear a timer clicking as we did with our old dishwasher.
I do miss having the silverware basket on the door. That and still trying to maximize the load are the only cons.
We highly recommend this dishwasher.

Awful, Only good thing I met a great repair man
Posted by: BobbieinFla from: Florida on
Showed Power Failures immediately, stopped draining at all after 1st use, told it was because the computer board went bad, replaced that, then again it went bad and said they had to replace even more things. Actually used it only 2 times. after 3 repair calls, I called it quits in 2 months. The only good thing I met a great repair man that serviced this brand. I'll keep his name around. As far as the Dishwasher, will be trying out an LG one next.
