Unit stopped working Posted by: from: on I've had this product for months now and have maybe used it 5 times. The last time I tried, the cooker did not heat up. I called Hamilton customer service and they said that it's a problem with the sensor. They offer me to pay $10 to ship a replacement unit... So I buy this product that stops working and then I have to pay again to get a new one under the warranty? I don't think so, I'm going to a better brand...

Beware of plastic bottom Posted by: from: on Slow cooker worked really well while it lasted. Cermamic pot itself and lid are of fantastic quality. The problem is that the whole base bottom is made out of flimsy plastic. Additionally, the sides are made of thin aluminum. Transported cooked chili in the cooker once and noticed when cleaning that a crack underneath on the plastic had surfaced. 6 months after purchasing and light usage (maybe 8-10 uses) the bottom had completely cracked apart and the aluminum sides would no longer hold in place properly. Disappointed since we were happy with functions and other performance. I would suggest you find a cooker with less thin plastic and more sturdy outside construction.

Feature packed options Posted by: from: Washington on We had 1 similar to this that my wife wore out. So when I went to replace it, I couldn't find one that had all of the options that the other one had until I found this one. I could not believe that it was so hard to find a nice affordable programmable crockpot in the size she liked! Not only was this one stainless steel, it was one quart bigger than her last one and needless to say she was ecstatic about this crockpot!

Fantastic! Posted by: from: Maine on This is a fantastic slow cooker. The probe is easy to program and the LCD display is a god send. I really enjoy cooking with this slow cooker because I no longer have to guess if my food is done. The system sets itself warm when the desired time or temp have been reached. And the clamps on the lid take the worry out of transporting the food to a party or local event.

Excellent cooker Posted by: from: Carlisle, Pa on I like the fact that you can program the slow cooker and not check it constantly. I won't buy another slow cooker, if it's not programmable.

Love it Posted by: from: on I love that you can setup and go. It cooks fast and easy to clean. Big enough to cook big meals. Can seal shut top lid with clips.

So far so good Posted by: from: Pleasanton, CA on I've had this slow cooker for about a month and so far I like it very much. It's easy to program and use, and works as well as any slow cooker I've ever had. I like having the option of just turning it on and using it like a more conventional crock pot. The lid locks seem like they would be nice if I wanted to take the slow cooker with me to a potluck or something, but I haven't tried this so I can't say how well that works. I also haven't tried the temperature probe, so I can't say anything about how useful (or not) that is. I can't say much about the durability because a month isn't long. So far there are no problems, and the only reason I haven't rated this higher is because I haven't owned it that long. It's kind of stupid for Best Buy to ask for a review after such a short time if they want information about the durability.
