Absurdist comedy blends with old-fashioned thrills in this independent nerve-shredder concerning a pair of overly persistent houseguests who don't get the concept of overstaying one's welcome. It's the last weekend before the snow melts, and Teddy is a privileged, twenty-five year old New Yorker looking to get the most out of his parents' scenic Vermont vacation home before the seasons turn. Having thrown a raucous birthday party the previous evening, Teddy awakens to survey the damage and realizes that a pair of guests from the previous evening have failed to make a timely exit. At first Teddy takes Paul and Craig's apologies at face value; after all, they were more than willing to help him clean up, and they know the right names to keep their patient host comfortable for the time being. When tensions rise and Teddy attempts to show Paul and Craig the door, however the situation quickly escalates into something far more sinister. Paul and Craig aren't ready to leave just yet, not until they've accomplished what they originally came to do. Later, as their true motivations are revealed, it becomes disturbingly apparent that Teddy's predicament isn't going to end peacefully. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
