The album that changed my musical tastes
Posted by: Parrotheadpete from: Dana Point, CA on
I first heard this album at a Hi-Fi show at Earl's Court in 1970. It changed my musical taste overnight. I ordered my own copy through Virgin Records' mail order business, and became a regular visitor to the Virgin Records store in Oxford Street above a Shoe Store (you had to walk through the store to get to the stairs to the record shop.) I love the sounds of this album. The strong percussion, the Jazz fusion, are all inspiring. Listen to this album with an open mind. Peaches En Regalia is a powerful song. Willie the Pimp lyrics are clever and thought provoking.
