Posted by: from Salem, OR on 02/08/2012I bought this iphone cover and within 10 days the thin strip that goes over the volume snapped. I tried to super glue it, but that didn't even last an hour. The next day the entire bar broke off. Within a few days the entire upper left corner broke off completely. Now it has a sharp edge that catches on clothing and scratches the skin. For something that is meant to be taken put in and out of pockets and purses it wan't very durable. On the positive side...the color is amazing! The cover is lightweight and thin (maybe that's why it was so fragile).

Broke very easily

Posted by: from Des Moines, IA on 01/14/2012The case is not very sturdy. 2 different pieces have broken off just from my phone being in my purse. I would not trust this case to protect my phone if dropped. I did like how it looked until it started missing pieces though.

I like how it protects corners and doesn't add to the size of the phone, sticks with the overall shape of the iphone and is easy to remove for cleaning.

Pretty, but not practical

I assume that is because I rarely put the phone in my pocket; I typically store my phone in my purse or resting on my desk at work. But the small piece of plastic near the volume controls did break while in my pocket. I super glued it and it is holding up fine. I have notice that the edging is losing color and texture. If this had lasted me one year before falling apart I'd given this five stars, but it lasted me 4 months before it broke. Now, because it cost so much I refuse to purchase another cover until the plastic near the volume controls break again or the superglue job stops holding.

Looks great, breaks easily

I loved the color and texture, and the fact that it was easy to snap on (and didn't seem to have any parts to come loose and no longer attach like some of the other cases). At 30 bucks, though, I expected it to last longer than a couple of months. After about 45 days, the thin piece near the volume controls and mute slider broke off completely. While the case is still usable, it feels very flimsy, and I no longer trust it to protect my phone. As such, I will soon be purchasing a new case by a different manufacturer.

Posted by: from on 01/03/2012My case broke after only a month of use. All I did was take it in and out if my pocket and one day a crack formed on the thin side around the volume buttons. The case is only held together by a strip here. Then sure enough, the case integrity was shot, and the next day the entire upper corner broke completely off. I cut my finger on the plastic trying to get it out of my pocket at this point. The part that broke was now sharp. I always thought the case looked great, but it was just not built to last let alone protect my iPhone.

Do not buy...

Posted by: from on 12/28/2011I bought this case and within a week part of it had broken off. I am not that hard on my phone so this case should have lasted for me but it didn't. The most I do is remove my phone to put it in my armband to go running. The second time I did that the part that is around the volume buttons broke. I would not recommend this cast to someone who wants a case that will last!!!

Cute, but not very tough
