Samsung's media player runs Android 2.2, but it's no phone

Samsung announced its MP3 and media device last week, and today we got a chance to get our paws on the Galaxy Player at its debut in Las Vegas. The Samsung Galaxy Player runs Android 2.2 and will feature a front and back-facing camera and choice of 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB of storage. Samsung is readily admitting its Apple-toppling ambitions, and coupled with the MacBook Air's evil twin, the PC 9 Series laptop, we certainly think the company is a force to be reckoned with.
