The sound quality of this product is great, and it is very easy to use just like how it was on the demo video. Although it would play automatically when I start the car, yet it wouldn't turn off by itself when the engine is off. Overall, I still likes it, and it is recommended to anyone who needs a FM Transmitter.2 out of 3 found this review helpful.

Doesn't work well to connecting to fm radio. Keeps getting static. Has poor range to in dash radio. I think it's better to be hard wired to the radio via a wire connection0 out of 4 found this review helpful.

This is a nice FM transmitter. The only thing I find wrong is that it transmits previous song information to the radio. This is no biggie though.0 out of 1 found this review helpful.

This is so easy to use and cheap. I wish I got it a long time ago. There is a little static sometimes, but I change channels and that usually solves problem. Either way, I don't go in the car without it. I can listen to all my things on Ipod instead of messing with CD's that always have a scratch, etc. I even listen to books I've put on my Ipod. If I were to be critical, I wish it came with some kind of little mount for the car so it's not sliding around.2 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Not compatible with all ipods1

Bought this item so I could listen to music off my first generation iPod video, however the device doesn't work with it. The box states it is iPod/iPhone compatible but failed to specify only with newer models. Waste of money and time now that I have to return it.6 out of 22 found this review helpful.

Could not be happier!5

I am very happy with this purchase. I have just driven from Pittsburgh to New York and back (different route in each direction) and this performed flawlessly throughout. Obviously on a journey of that length you're going to need to rescan for clear airspace a few times but I probably only had to do that about 4 times in each direction. Other than that you can set it and forget it.
I expected the sound quality to be like a weak FM radio station, but no - it was top notch. Very high quality sound.
Couple of things to bear in mind - like another review has said, follow the instructions for setting it up. Your iPod must be plugged in, switched on and playing before you start scanning. (Interestingly, the power cord doesn't need to be - that's just for charging the iPod, which again worked perfectly for me.) The other thing is that the volume is a little quieter than the car radio. Not much, and can easily be compensated for by winding the car radio up a little, but just be careful about switching it off - when the car radio's own station (or background noise) comes back it will make you jump!
Other than that, highly recommended.13 out of 13 found this review helpful.

Great Product!5

The sound is great. I have used at least five FM Transmitters in the past few years. Most have OK sound, where you have to really turn up the volume. Not this one, it has great sound and full tone range.
Two minor complaints. One. The way the button / menu is, it not straight forward and a tad confusing. I am pretty much on one station, so it's not a deal breaker for me. Two. The little box that you connect to your phone is a tad flimsy. The could make that a little bit more re-enforced.
I still would recommend to anyone and everyone.10 out of 11 found this review helpful.

I bought this a couple weeks ago for an iphone 3GS with iOS 5.0.1.
This thing is great! Just follow 4 simple setup steps and you're up and running. I use this in a semi tractor over long distances, and it takes a very strong radio transmission to cause a little crackle over this device. It automatically scans for unused radio frequencies (takes about 10-15 seconds) then stores them as presets for you. The sound quality is good and it charges the phone quickly too. When battery is charged you can leave power adapter unplugged as it will run off of the phone. RDS feature is nice too. There is no app to install, no hassles. Device is well made too! Only con is device plug is not long enough for the Otterbox phone protector. You will have to remove outer shell to plug device in properly.15 out of 17 found this review helpful.
