A decent stand

I needed a stand that could accommodate a soundbar and a 55 inch television. Searched everywhere and this is the best I could find. The color is darker than what the pictures would suggest. The finish is a dark brown. Assembly is minimal. The metal frame folds out, the end panels and glass shelves are slid into place. All is secured with "thumb screws". Overall construction is sturdy and heavy. I would say the only con is the wood and finish. A few flaws but only only noticeable in certain light and angles. Hope this helps.

Very easy to put together
Posted by: tvguy from: on
Easiest piece of not assembled furniture to put together ever. Never swore once. Only need a screw driver for the four screws that hold the handle on. Pretty much comes folded up. You unfold add the one end with 4 screws that have knobs on them making them easy to screw on. Slide 3 pieces of glass on and add the other end. A few other minor steps. Very happy with this stand.
Beautiful stand and very sturdy. A little heavy but not as heavy as some have stated. Heavy means solid, glass is not light.
It also a little darker than the picture shows.

Perfect tv stand
Posted by: Virnman from: on
This is a heavy, solid piece of furniture. It has a metal frame and tempered glass shelving and top. It was very easy to put together and looks beautiful when finished. I have a 55" tv and soundbar and you can't find a better stand for this setup/price. They had one on display at the store so I could see it before purchasing.

Excellent TV stand, very durable and easy to install. Only took about 1 hour to install by myself, and the color of the stand looks great.

What a nightmare!
Posted by: bmsanders from: on
To begin with when I received the first stand, it came in with a shattered shelf. I called Best Buy customer service and they told me I had to send the entire thing back. They couldn't just send me a new shelf because it was a boxed product. What a crock! The second one arrived with everything intact. Nice huh? Well, when we put it together we realized that the top shelf, which has to be screwed into place, was drilled wrong! In other words we could either screw the front part down or the back part down, but not both sides! Ahhhhh! So rather than send it back a second time, we just screwed down the front. OK now here's the real kicker- once the stand was set up we started putting our components in. Or at least we tried. The space between the shelves is only about 6 inches tall. So some of my components wouldn't even go on the shelf until I figured out how to shim up the bottom shelf enough to get a NEW home theatre receiver in there. I ended up using some felt stick-on pads I bought from another store and that solved that issue. Anyway if you have any components that stand more than 5 1/2 inches high they won't fit! Just beware. The stand looks really nice and is easy to put together, but the quality control at the factory and the poor design are really horrible. I would have given this no stars at all if the review would have let me.
