I bought mine online before Best Buy carried this product. Easy machine to maintain. Designed so the do it yourselfer can easily make most required repairs, IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE PARTS! This robot does only FAIR job of cleaning the pool. When it rains the accumulated dirt from my screens falls into the pool and I have to sweep the pool several time and let my filter remove the dabree because the robot can't suck the fine stuff up. If you use a DE filter and get some DE powder in the pool the robot is unable to pickup the DE powder. My old robot used to clean these things with ease, but that robot cost twice as much as this unit. The unit uses 2 on board filter baskets that are made of cloth permanently attached to a rigid plastic frame. You push back on a tab to release the basket and pull out each basket. The tabs were not mentioned in the manual and I had to figure that out for myself. If you break the tab, according to the Mfg. you need to replace the entire filter basket. You wash the filters with a garden hose and reinstall them. The tab assemblies break easily, especially if you don't realize that they need to be released, and. even when they are not broken they don't always keep the baskets in. The basket assemblies will wear out, especially the locking tabs and the cloth parts of the filters where they are glued or heat welded to the plastic frame. Good luck finding replacements filters when you need them. One company looked them up and said they could get them but they were $100.00 each. Most onboard filters are cloth and run $19 to $48 ea. This unit requires 2 filters, that is $200 each time you change the filters vs. $19 to $48 on other robots. Anyway I needed the filters so I ordered them only to be told that the mfg didn't have them in stock and I would be notified when they were available. I've been waiting for over 6 months now and still no word. I do call occasionally but no luck. $1000 may seem like a great price for a robotic pool cleaner, but is it really? If you really want a robotic pool cleaner do yourself a favor and wait untill you can spend about twice that and get a good machine that will do a great job cleaning your pool, something like an Aquabot or similar product. Good luck and enjoy your leisure time.

I highly recommend this robotic cleaner to someone with a pool like mine, caves, slide, rocks and waterfalls. All other cleaners failed as they used to get stuck around the rocks. This cleaner goes in every corner and cleans everything up. Love it!!!
