Pretty Good CD4 Posted by: from: Panama City, FL on I doubt these guys are the saviors of rock and roll. However, the Strokes have been a breath of fresh air amid the TRL Britney/50 Cent/Justin music. Yes, it's all been done before...but if you are going to copy the style of a former band, why NOT sound like the Ramones, VU or the Clash? It's fun, it's energetic, and it beats the heck out of 98% of the junk you hear on the radio. So just enjoy it! It's a good CD.

Catchy tunes for a summer drive5 Posted by: from: sodus, ny on Debut album from this band. I bought on the advice of a co-worker twenty years younger than I and the kid was right - good tunes, rock and roll all the way. I've been listening on the way home from work - highway speed, windows down and volume way up!

great buy for a fan4 Posted by: from: Van Alstyne Texas on I wish that this album had more of my Stokes favorites. I am a casual fan so a greatest hits cd might hve been better for my taste. If you are a true fan you could not go wrong if you can het this cd under $5 like I did.

Great CD5 Posted by: from: Chicago, IL on This is a great CD if you like The Strokes or just starting to like them, every song on this album is good and unique. The entire album is good and I can listen to the album over and over without any songs being skipped. I also have to add that this cd was delivered to me earlier than the estimated delivery date even though i used the standard free shipping.

Quite a few hits4 Posted by: from: on Quite a few hits & solid songs on this one. Well worth picking up especially with the companion DVD. Comparisons to Iggy Pop "Lust for Life" are fair -- but you'll have to find the pulled track elsewhere.
