This is a NiMH battery was exactly as specified.

My only concern is that the first unit I purchased was defective in that even after 24 hours of charging in a standard cordless phone, the maximum voltage it produced was only 1.7V, which, of course, was insufficient to power the phone. Nevertheless, Best Buy took back the unit immediately with no questions asked, and replaced it with another one by the same manufacturer. This one works perfectly.

Battery seems to be doing its job

Posted by: SCJAY from San Clemente, CA on 09/08/2010Replacement battery for my Motorola MD671 Cordless phone. The original battery finally died and the new replacement battery seems be working great. I have no idea on the durability since I have only had the battery for about a month but the talk time has increased to at least several hours. Have not had to interrupt a call to recharge. Battery cost is average but did not want to buy a whole new phone system so it was worth it to me.
