The Standard of Excellence!

Klipsch earbuds (the object that you insert into your ear canals) are the standard bearer for fit and comfort and these do not disappoint. During my resent search for a great set of neckband style Bluetooth earbuds I purchased some of the best reviewed products in the category for comparison purposes (one of the best reasons to do business with Best Buy). I tried top of the line products from LG, the inventor of the class, and from Bose. All three products have virtues and vices and selecting one is definitely a subjective decision but the Klipsch R6 Neckband is my choice. The earbuds have a slim, angled nozzle with a variety of oval silicone tips that are light, and extremely comfortable. This is of great importance, especially when considering the duration of time for which they will be inserted into your ears. Sonic performance, especially for a Bluetooth set, is excellent with full dynamic range. From an audiophile perspective, sound reproduction is not flat; there is some additional weight placed on the bottom end. This colors the sound, but not in an annoying way and the music becomes involving. The controls work well, are intuitive to use, and have good feel. The Klipsch also performs very well as a telephone headset. When asked about voice clarity, I received only positive feedback. I didn't give 5 stars due the neckband design. Although it has a cool, retro kind of look, it's also somewhat bulky and tends not to stay well seated. This form factor negative is far outweighed by the excellence of the rest of the design.

These are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I have ever had. The sound is very full in all ranges. They look great and are quite comfortable!

Nothing Special / Extremely Overpriced
Posted by: orlandotommy from: Orlando, FL on
I saw these headphones at BestBuy the other day and needed a nice bluetooth solution/headset. The premium look of the device and the high price tag attracted me, so i bought it. It's now two days later and i just returned it. First, the instructions are really bad, its a tiny book with a few tiny pages of basic info and that's it. Most of the functions i had to figure out on my own. I received calls and my callers kept saying they could hardly hear me, even when i was close to my phone in a very quiet room. Soon as i disconnected the headset people could hear me fine on my phone and speakerphone. I figured it may be a fluke, but EVERYONE i talked to over 2 days complained. I paired it with a S7 Edge and a iPhone 7 Plus, same results. It's not very comfortable either and the earbuds kept popping out, and i have normal ears and was using the right size earbuds (a few different sizes come with it). The sound was "ok", nothing special at all. The more and more i used this the more and more i said this is maybe worth $39.99 not $199.99. Regardless, i took it back and got something else. I would avoid this overpriced low quality product. Don't let the premium look fool you.

Klipsch is All Flash.........
Posted by: Noble1914 from: on
I was forced to purchase a new Bluetooth headset when LG Tone Infinim's neck piece broke. The Klipsch looks great. I had to decide between the Bose QuietComfort 30 and the Klipsch R6 Neckband.... after two days of using these I returned them I found the neckband to be very intrusive to wear even though they are stylist.... I found the cables for the ear pods too long and and the ear pod keep popping out (tried the large Medium-default and small double tips) the sound was decent but due to the neckband form factor which is ridged... pass this one by go with the LG Tone lg tone Infinim or step up to the Bose Comfort 30

For the price, I would have thought that the sound would blow my mind.... Crickets. Horrible sound quality. Plugs kept slipping out of my ears. At 175 bucks, there's no way they should be so costly.

Very poor experience over-all. A total waste of $

Faulty right out of the box; won't charge. Contacted Klipsch Group customer support who wouldn't talk to me without a receipt (which, days later was gone). Very poor experience over-all. A total waste of $150.

Best headset of this style

I'm just incredibly happy with this headset and I've been thru probably 20 of them. By far my favorite. Awesome sound and look professional.
