Add booming bass to your audio setup with this Klipsch Reference R-10SW subwoofer, which features a built-in digital amplifier that offers 300W peak power. A 10" IMG (injection-molded graphite) woofer reduces cone breakup and distortion for clear tones.
Looks like there aren't enough negative mentions yet.
Soon to be Homeless

I love this speaker but I am sure my neighbors hate it. Good clean, tight bass. If I want, I can shake the plaster off my walls on all 3 stories of my house. Used with Onkyo 805W receiver, Klipsch 6 1/2 reference series floor speakers, bookshelf rear speakers and center channel. Used mostly for music, but the theater sound is incredible.

Sub does not bottom out. Meets the volume level and clarity of my system. I have a Yamaha surround receiver and the other Klipsch surround speakers along with a pair of Paradigm tower speakers. Nice set up

Best BANG for your buck!

I had a 300 watt 10" Polk sub that just died after 6 years. I got this sub on sale for only $174.99 and I feel like I stole it from Best Buy! This sub is absolutely AMAZING! My old Polk sub had solid bass but this Klipsch simply blows it away! It has absolutely rock solid, DEEP, thunderous bass! You will NOT be disappointed if you buy this sub!

Rump Shaking Base

I replace my Polk Audio 10SW with this. The Polk was good but this SW is great. The base is TIGHT! It is in my basement Theatre Room and it shakes my 3800 Sq FT house.
I have a 7 channel Denon receiver delivering 125RMS at .1% sensitivity per channel. I first set it up to compliment my Denon and room, it took about 1/2 hour. Set crossover at 28 to 120.

big sound, smaller box

I love the Klipsch brand. I had a Synergy 10" almost 9 years then the amp went out. I'm selling it for parts. The woofer on it was down firing while this one faces forward. I like the "copper" look of this reference series woofer even though I will keep the cover on. This enclosure is smaller but packs just as much punch. Fits nicely in the room. Minus one star because the dials on the back are not segmented to the feel when you adjust blindly. I have crossover at 80 and volume turned down to 10 o'clock. This thing is powerful! Sounds great when you balance with your current speakers.

Excellent for a subwoofer-not dark and muddy like so many, but clearly defined notes and tones. As a musician I appreciate this. I can follow bass drum and bass lines clearly.

Great Subwoofer for the price
Posted by: Brian from: on
I purchased this sub-woofer to pair with the other Klipsch speakers I have connected to my Pioneer SC-91 Elite receiver. I am also using two Klipsch R-15M bookshelf speakers and a Klipsch R-25C center channel speaker, and two small Cambridge Audio cube speakers in surround mode.
The Klipsch R-10SW added much needed bass depth to the system. My room is approximately 14' X 28' and there is plenty of bass. I wish it went a little lower to get to the minimum 20Hz range of human hearing but 30Hz is good for now, especially for the price.
Setup was simple, especially when using the Pioneers Microphone setup to optimize the output of the Sub woofer based on where I placed it within the room.
