Customers appreciate the Reference Series 2.1-Channel Soundbar System for its exceptional sound quality, easy setup, and powerful bass. Many reviewers rave about the immersive audio experience and the convenience of wireless connectivity. While some find the soundbar a bit pricey, most agree that it offers excellent value for the features and performance it delivers.
Okay, just to give the basics. I wanted to go from a huge receiver 6.1 surround system. Ton of wires, everywhere! 12” subwoofer. To this. I was happy with the old sound. But, it took soooo much living space. I went with this because I got such a good deal on it and know klipsch is a great brand. The sound quality is outstanding. It really holds up as expected. Do not let your cable service provide content as your test run. Use an actual Blu-ray. Or use Netflix. But the best test is a solid connection. I have Comcast and tested it out with Captain America: Winter Soldier and it sounded real low res. I popped in the Blu-ray and made it 100x better. Also great for music. It has Bluetooth connectivity. What ever service you use, make sure you quality is set to its max. Plenty of HDMI inputs and optical. NO COAX. Which is an issue for me. My tv does not output in optical. So maybe one day I’ll upgrade and make sure it has an optical output. The subwoofer is wireless and has its own controls on the remote. Has a decent reach without losing quality. Drawbacks, the speaker is really wide. Hangs off the tv stand I have. I will have to find a new solution for that. So make sure you have a BIG tv for this speaker set up. 55+ For sure. It’s not the cleanest prettiest looking speaker. It’s pretty round and a little bulky. Klipsch is known for that dark wood tower speakers and they totally missed an opportunity here. Instead it’s plastic. But other then that it’s a great speaker set up, especially for its brand and price. Hope this helps!

We already had two excellent sound systems: A Bose Lifestyle system and a Blue Sky system. We gave the Bose to one of the kids and the Blue Sky is used with one,of the computers. After buying a Sony 55" TV we wanted a decent sound system to use with it. The Klipsch - Reference Series 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with 8" Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier Sound Bar System works wonderfully! What I like most about it is it's size: 44" wide, 4" tall, less than 4" deep. So the sound bar's low height, small depth and height makes it very low key in appearance. Being wireless is also a huge plus! And the sound that comes out of it is surprising for it's size. Sure, I could have gotten a very high end product for many many more dollars, but why go to that expense when I don't have a professional home movie theatre?

Sounds great in my living room. Great improvement over the TV speakers. Easy to hook up. Solid bass. Full mids and decent highs. Not tinny at all. Worth the money.
