STUPID INTERVIEW BREAKS HURT MUSIC Posted by: from: on One more concert film that had stupid interview breaks between songs. Why do concert films do this? It ruins the music and feel of a real live show! Concert film fans like to feel like they went to the show, but interview breaks ruin it. I didn't care who the band members were, but I did want to feel like I saw early AC/DC show. Only parts of DVD did that. And, it was DVD, not Blu-ray, so buyers must remember format quality. Otherwise, I liked seeing early AC/DC, but HATE those interview breaks! For $5.00 in store price, I got money's worth, though I would NEVER pay $15 Best Buy web page price!

Great! Posted by: from: on I got this for my dad who loves this band. He was trying to keep fighting his cancer until he could go to their concert this past February. When we both knew his time was extremely limited and he wouldn't make it to the concert, I bought this DVD to bring the concert to him! It was great and was like you were there for the show in person. Lots of great songs and back story.

Stellar Movie For Anyone To Watch & Enjoy Posted by: from: San Francisco, Ca on This is AC/DC movie is classic flick (with nice picture and sound quality on DVD) showing the band at the height of their abilities before the untimely death of lead singer Bon Scott. LTBR does infuse certain elements of the Led Zeppelin concert film 'The Song Remains The Same' (such as "character" interludes within the songs) which is more like an ode to LZ than an over used idea. For either fans or non- fans of AC/DC you will not go wrong with getting this movie (plus it is less than five bucks- you really can't go wrong).

Not an epic "rockumentary" ... And not meant to be Posted by: from: on The strength - and limitation - of AC DC has always been its straightforward, bluesy-hard- rock formula. And this Bon Scott-era concert film follows suit: play the hits, see footage of the road crew setting up, get to know the band in behind-the-scenes footage. Nothing more complicated than that. Pay $5 and be pummeled for 90 minutes.

AC/DC, in the early days! Posted by: from: Michigan on It is so incredible to see AC/DC in the beginning. It's so damned (hopefully that's good to say here) to see them in the beginning. Some bands die out at this point. Heck, MANY bands die out at that point, and AC/DC drove on, and it's what, 40-PLUS years later, and they STILL show what ROCK and ROLL is! AWESOME!!!

Let There Be Rock Posted by: from: on I was anxious to view this DVD as it is a classic 1979 concert with Bon Scott on vocals. The songs were great and it was interesting to see them in their prime. Some of the behind the scenes footage is a little boring but the music makes up for that.

great early AC/DC Posted by: from: on AC/DC live with Bon Scott. Very good basic concert with a few extra things added. I don't know where Angus Young gets all his energy! The whole band is great in this live concert DVD. From Paris in 1979. RIP Bon.
