Great picture, love the space

Posted by: Yeffers from on 03/29/2016I was using 2 external monitors when I WFH which was cumbersome to set up when needed. This monitor allows me to do away with them and just leave this one set up all the time, I do tech support so I have many applications open at once and the screen real estate makes it easy to have the apps I need open concurrently set up side by side. My wife WFH occasionally as well and loves the extra space to do her work.

Excellent value and performance

Posted by: Andrew from Seattle, WA on 03/27/2016I did considerable research on ultra wide monitors before making the decision to buy. I really wanted the 34" curved ultra wide with the 3440x1440 resolution, however that would have required upgrading my graphics card and I decided not to do that at this time. So the best compromise was the 29" ultra wide and thus far I am very impressed. I purchased a pair and side by side they provide tons of screen real estate. I play D&D 5E with Fantasy Grounds and the extra space allows for me to have maps and many other items open all at once with room to spare. So if you are a gamer or doing office type work where you need multiple items open with the ability to view them all at once, I would highly recommend this monitor.

Fair (1 star) review for Customer support

On LG's website, I researched this monitor to make sure this particular monitor offers Picture By Picture (PBP). On LG's website it says yes right next to the features. After picking up my Monitor and hooking it up, immediately I thought I went crazy or that this monitor was defective. I emailed tech support with my questions (as it was 3am) and the next evening, after not seeing any response, I decided to chat with Tech Support for LG. The person I talked to assured me that I had a defective monitor. I prepped this to return, and recieved an email from a different person from LG which said I was misinformed and that this particular monitor does not offer PBP. After replying twice and waiting for 5 days I have not heard anything back. Moral of the story, even though the website says yes, confirm with email before buying.

Great Color and Clarity

Extremely happy with my decision as this monitor is very thin, lightweight, and has a very clear and vibrant picture. Also highly functional as either a TV or Desktop Monitor.
