Thrilled with my purchase! Posted by: from: on I have had my stove for 6 weeks and I am very pleased with my selection. It was a bit intimidating, but the instruction manual is very helpful. The burners are much more efficient than my old ceramic topped stove and things cook much quicker. The oven is extremely spacious and with the convection, multiple trays of cookies baked evenly. I have not had to clean the bright blue interior, yet, but was able to remove pizza drips, easily, with just a damp paper towel. So far, I couldn't be happier.

I'd never buy this unit again. Posted by: from: on This very attractive stove has been a big disappointment. The oven is very uneven in temperature, and, though I've not bought a new oven thermometer yet, it takes a long time to preheat and even then I'm sure the temp is not as high as I set it. The storage drawer where I'd typically keep pan lids is only good for things like cookie sheets as it is quite shallow. Even though the top of the range says it's level, everything I baked is slanted and the baking is uneven. That said, the thing I really struggle with daily is the style of controls for the range. Good luck trying to figure out what the right setting is! And, frankly, pushing the buttons is none too comfortable for my 65 year old fingers. I cant imagine an older person with impaired vision and arthritis working it. I don't think the thing will last long enough in this household for it to become an issue, though I hate to admit to my spouse that I've made such an expensive mistake--It was my idea to get rid of our perfectly good stove just because it was white and I wanted stainless.

3rd try is the charm.... Posted by: from: on This is the 3rd stove I have purchased in the last 2 years... 1st one was a Kitchenaid which died after 2 years (main control board went). 2 nd stove I bought was the Samsung... I had it replaced with the LG. While I loved the Samsung the stovetop scratched too easily. I loved the textured glass top on this stove. It doesn't show the dirt as easily. It's taking awile to get used to the digital controls, but they work just fine. The oven works great (although I think the Samsung oven was better). The stove plays a song when the oven is preheated or when the timer goes off... It's a little weird and my kids laugh when they hear it, overall happy with my purchase!

Had an issue with cooktop within 1 month. Posted by: from: NC on Within 1 month the caulking was buckling in a couple of places on the cooktop. Because we do not live within the city of purchase, It took a couple of calls to the LG customer service to get a technician to come out. Once we got someone scheduled, we were told the date of the service call would be with an arrival time between 8-5. Might have considered other options had this been known. However, the technician arrived around lunch time and ordered another cooktop and will have to come back out to install it. Another day of waiting…Except for this issue we really like the range.

easy to use, digital display Posted by: from: on I bought this to replace broken range with similar style. Best buy store does not have any electric stove display they told me 90% homes use gas range so I ordered this online at the BestBuy store. I had to read the exact dimension to make sure it fit the space between the cupboards. The dimension listed online is exactly what it is. The delivery included free installation and hauling the old range, no hassle. Range is easy to use. They way you turn on the stove is no longer rotating a knob as my old stove, but a flat panel to push on/ff, and use +/- to increase or decrease stove temp. Temperature of stove are not Hi, Med, Low, but a number from 0 to 9. For oven, it sings a song when oven temp reached my set temperature. Manual tells me what kind of cleaning product I should use to keep the stove top shinny. The model I got the bottom drawer is a storage, not a warmer, which is handy to store baking pans.

Nice oven, controls are a little fussy Posted by: from: on Bought this oven when my existing glass top range died, and it's a very nice unit that matches my other LG appliances. The range heats quickly and the convection oven does result in nice, even cooking as advertised. A couple of minor annoyances: the oven plays a two-minute song every time it preheats, which is just silly (I haven't looked to see if this can be changed), and I find that pressing buttons to adjust to the burner temperature isn't as convenient as simply turning knobs, but it's a push-button world and it works fine.

Immensely Happy With This Posted by: from: on I liked the oven at the store but read some negative reviews online. So far I have not needed tech support- that was where LG really got dinged in reviews.Otherwise it is a fantastic oven. I have said it before, you get what you pay for. If you can afford this oven, get it. I think it is worth every penny; considering most people keep an oven for decades and if not, it is a great selling point when you put your house up for sale.

Mixed review Posted by: from: Syracuse,NY on I like the stove so far but lets start with the stuff I hate. The Huge control panel is very kool BUT its plastic and not glass. It takes 19 min for the convection bake to reach 400 degrees. The regular bake was 10 minutes to 400. I called LG 3 times and all I got was between 10-20 min is normal. I was going to return the stove until I found out all the new stoves are the same. I called Whirlpool to ask them and they explained that the energy conservation people recommended to save energy that the broiler element NOT be used during preheating . Dont make since to me . The ready alarm is kinda on the low side. The storage drawer needs more structure, it feels very flimsy. I did read some really bad reviews for LG stoves that scared me into purchasing a 219.99 5 year warranty for my 749.99 stove. The cost to me was a LOT . Broiler pans and the cord DO NOT come with the stove and are an extra cost. Cord was $23.00 I just kept my old pans so they were FREE :) The likes : This was the best designed control panel I seen on any brand with the HUGE digital control panel even though I wish it had glass touch tech. The oven size is HUGE. I like the blue oven coating. It came with 3 wire racks. The burners are powerful and heat very fast. The oven cooked great. I'm still testing the convection setting . Wish list : I wanted 2 6/9 inch dual burners. You have to go to $1200 to get that. Full Glass touchscreen on control panel would be AWESOME. I called LG and they say glass is only on the GAS stoves. So far I like it and with the SUPER expensive best-buy 219.99 5 year warranty I feel a little better if it explodes i will get a new one. PS ----- Best Buy says in their specifications that the stove has a 5 years limited: cook-top and radiant service units and according to LG that's not true. Warranty is only 1 year on both parts and labor .

Love it, would buy again, hopefully won't have to Posted by: from: on Love the warming zone.... didn't think it made any sense, but it does. This thing cooks HOT and the warming zone is perfect for the dish left standing. Inside is blue. Yeah, blue. It's sweet looking. Never thought an oven would be so good to look at. I should selfie myself with the door open.

Best Range I Have Owned. Posted by: from: on This range took a about a week to get use to but now is best I owned. The cook top cleans easily following instructions in manual. The push buttons instead of dials and the burner layout was strange at first but after a few days whole family was cooking on it. The oven is fanastic. Have never had convection type oven before but using the convectio bake settings cooks faster and more even. Works great as normal oven also. The broil settings work also but have broiled only once. Would advise checking often in broil mode cause fast cooks for sure. The oven color is cool and the bells and whistles are great.
