Nice wirefree headset Posted by: from: Goleta, CA on I am really happy to get this headset. Most importantly, it makes me free of those wires and allows me to move around a little while I am talking using VoIP. I am talking in meeting for more than 3 hrs everyday, and this headset is really comfortable on ear. The sound quality is pretty good for music. It's talk time is also very good, and the best thing is I can use it while it's getting charged via PC USB cable. The only problem is it's range... it's no where near 30ft as mentioned by Logitech. Moreover, it doesn't work behind walls; it needs clear line of sight between headset and the USB dongle. Also, the price could have been little less... fourty bugs looks ok. Overall, it is working for me; using it for 4 months and I am happy to have this.

Not ready for prime time Posted by: from: Ohio on The concept of the headset is great, the implementation and practical use is just not there. After charging the headset battery for 3 hours, I started the setup. The Nano USB used on this headset unreliable and is sporatic at best. The instructions say not to plug it into a USB hub. I tried putting the USB in the front USB slots and in the rear, and nothing. I plugged it into my USB hub, and it took about 5 minutes for the computer to find it and install the drivers. The range says 30 feet, I was 3 feet away and got a crackeling broken up sound. I shut the computer dowm restarted it, and it never found the headsets again, in any slot ,anywhere, at least in the 10 minutes I gave gave them to find each other . Needless to say, I took them back. And no, it was not my computer. I have an i7 with 10gb ram etc etc etc.

A headset my daughter isn't destroying! Posted by: from: Tallahassee, FL on So... my daughter goes through headsets. As in, in the past, they've generally only lasted her a few days to a few weeks. Her mom has given her several of her old ones, I gave her a few of my old ones, and I'd bought a couple for her. This last time that she told me her headset wasn't working, I decided that this time, instead of buying another cheapie, I'd try to get something higher quality... and I decided to go wireless, since I suspected that her destroying headsets had a lot to do with carrying around her laptop, using it in bed, etc, and that most likely, the wire was getting bent enough where it went into the plug to eventually short out or break. So I got this one. It was more expensive than I was originally looking to spend, but it seemed to be of high quality, and it was wireless, with a USB dongle, which was important since her laptop doesn't have bluetooth. So far, she's had it about a month and a half, has been using it constantly, and it hasn't broken yet. She loves it, and I'm happy!

They work well once you figure them out. Posted by: from: on I would have rated this product higher if I didn't have to do research to figure out how to get them to work. It's frustrating enough they didnt work from rhe box. Even more frustrating, the instructions seemed useless., The most significant information was left out that you have to search for the correct download for them to function properly.

Easier to pair with your computer/laptop Posted by: from: on I bought the model up from this and returned it for the H600. The 800 was a little more complicated and did not want to pair as easily. Good quality, Microphone has excellent noise cancelling and always sounds sharp and clear to my online audience. Love the fact that it is cordless so I'm not too tethered to the laptop and don't get tangled up when I am turning in my chair- i tend to do that when using a multiple monitor situation. Excellent Price too!

ATTN Chromebookers Posted by: from: on I bought these headphones to pair with my Toshiba Chromebook 2 with the intention of using the mic to dictate notes for work. As with most products these days a manual wasn't included, just a rather poor diagram. After doing some research I learned I needed to download the Logitech Unifying app from the Chrome Store. After doing this and inserting the nano receiver I was able to listen to streamed music, which came in nice and clear. However, when I attempted to use the mic for dictation, I could not get it to work. The next day I brought it to the Geek Squad and they had a hard time figuring it out as well. After we got the whole team involved the mystery was solved. To activate the mic go to your Chromebook's settings, click on advanced settings, scroll down to accessibility, click on Enable on screen keyboard and a little icon should appear in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click on the icon which will feature a display with a small mic. Click on that and you're ready to dictate. I wish I could have found these instructions somewhere. I live in a two story town house with a basement and I can travel throughout with the headphones on with no distortion and the music sounding crisp and clear. I hope this review/tutorial proves useful to others.
