This Logitech K400 Plus 920-007119 keyboard features a 33' wireless range, so you can operate your TV-connected Windows, Android or Chrome device with ease from the comfort of your couch. The integrated touchpad enables easy navigation.

I bought this as a replacement for a slowly failing keyboard on my laptop.
There are a lot of wireless keyboard options available, but this one checked all the boxes: portable, good feel, "full-size" keys. It added the bonus of a touch pad, something I really didn't know was an option, but very glad it is there, so it's not so awkward going from the portable keyboard back to the laptop touchpad. It also has convenient volume keys. There's a power switch on the back to save the batteries when not in use.
Due to its size, the Home and End keys are squirreled away on the cursor keys and an FN key must be pressed to get Home and End functionality. I use those keys a lot, so it's a bit of a training issue getting used to pressing three keys in combination for functionality that normally takes two.
It uses the Logitech Unity USB dongle, very small and works with another keyboard and mouse I have at my desk for when I'm not traveling.

Excellent keyboard, good improvements on the K400
Posted by: dennis from: on
I've owned two of the original K400 keyboards. The first one had the touch-pad die after 2 years, the second didn't survive a short drop onto a carpeted floor. Hopefully, this new model has a bit better quality control.
The Plus appears almost identical to the original K400. The volume keys are easier to reach above the touchpad, the mouse buttons are a bit smaller and more difficult to use. The keys have more travel, better feedback and feel more like a regular keyboard.
The keyboard layout is excellent for a media keyboard. The alphabet keys are full sized, and touch typing is easy. Many of the minor keys (Ctrl, Alt, etc) are half sized. The Plus has a slightly better layout than the original, with full sized Shift and Enter keys.
The touch-pad is an excellent multi-touch that supports two-finger scrolling, panning and tap-to-left-click (assuming your OS has these features, of course). The keyboard is Android friendly if you have a USB adapter on your Android (however, not all versions of Android have the K400 driver). The volume Up and Mute keys work in Mint Linux, but not the volume Down key.

Perfect wireless keyboard for my Samsung smart TV
Posted by: BobInHouston from: on
I tried two Samsung wireless keyboards for use on my Samsung J5500 smart TV, but neither one worked. I contacted Samsung and found they don't currently have one for my model. I was told my smart TV has been designed to work with "HID compliant devices", which I found the Logitech K-400 keyboard does. I plugged the dongle that came with the keyboard into the USB on the back of the TV, turned the keyboard on and was connected to my TV immediately. As I sit comfortably on my couch, everything works as easily as using my PC.....searching the web, checking emails, etc. The built-in touchpad works great too. This keyboard has a 33 foot range.....it's absolutely PERFECT!!

Excellent little keyboard

I love this little keyboard. It is compact and lightweight and functions perfectly!
I bought this keyboard to use in my workshop. I wanted a simple, all in one compact keyboard. I didn't want to worry about loosing the mouse or cords of any kind. This item fits the bill. First off, it's a Logitech. IMHO Logitech is the 'go to' as far as mice, keyboards and remotes. I own quite a few and have had zero problems. Secondly, this keyboard is small, but still quite functional as far as typing. The touch pad (I'm usually not a fan of them) works perfectly. I hooked the keyboard up to a PC running Windows 10. It was immediately recognized and started working. So no compatibility issues whatsoever. Another thing I liked is the keyboard doesn't have those little plastic feet that flip down. They always seem to get broken off. The keyboard has rubber feet and is thick enough to allow the perfect typing height.
I can't say enough good things about this keyboard. I really like it. I think I will pick up another for my security camera server. The on/off switch allows me to turn off the keyboard so I don't waste batteries. (OH btw, batteries are included too!)
The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is the packaging. BE careful!!!! The keyboard USB dongle is very small and tucked into the lip of the packaging. Very easy to over look and throw away after unboxing.

Nice if you want a small keyboard with touchpad
Posted by: DemandingUser from: on
I'm not a touchpad person. I always carry a mouse with my laptops, but there are times when a mouse just doesn't have a surface to work on, in which case a touchpad is better then nothing. This Logitech keyboard seems like a good fit for use with a TV-connected PC where you would be using the keyboard on your lap without a desk. It is narrow enough to hold in both hands comfortable and use the touchpad with your right thumb while pressing the "left click" button at the top left of the keyboard with your left thumb. It's light weight and shows economical construction (meaning don't abuse it), but for the price it seems to serve a particular use very well.

Great Media Center Keyboard and More!
Posted by: BKNJ from: on
This is a mid-size all in one keyboard and trackpad. It uses a little usb dongle for communications with the computer. It is perfectly sized to use one handed while holding with the other, or for use on your lap. The trackpad works well. The keyboard has a decent feel. I started using the K400 for presentation and interactive systems at tradeshows, so i have a bunch of them. However, I bought these new "plus" models for my home entertainment use. I have several systems connected to TV's in my house, including Win 10 and Android, and the K400 helps make those types of systems so much more efficient to operate. This new 'Plus" model is an improvement over the last two models, as they have greatly improved the on/off switch, and given the unit a new finish that feels much nicer in the hands. But other than that they are the same. I highly recommend this keyboard. Its cheap, and works great with the entertainment center stuff.

Works great with Raspberry Pi

Needed a wireless keyboard for my Raspberry Pi 2.
Works great. Prefer a mouse, but the touch pad is effective.

Great little portable keyboard for my laptop
Posted by: Blocstar from: on
I typically just use the keys on the laptop for general work. But I had a couple several hundred page portfolios to do and figured a real keyboard would make it easier, especially since I have long nails. This keyboard was great. It just plugs right in, is really small, and very easy to use. I tested a bunch of different portable keyboard at the store because everyone likes a specific feel. I would prefer if The keys were left glassy and had more of a matte finish so that they would be a little less slippery, but it witjed out well for me for the most part. I would definitely recommend this keyboard.
