Needs some improvement

Posted by: Kerricane from on 04/02/2016Overall really good protection. I am a Paramedic and put a beating on my watch daily. I'm not a huge fan of the snap on the band, I would prefer the traditional sleeve. Be careful with the the screws they will loosen so make sure to keep an eye on them.

Posted by: HTNJ from Franklin Park, NJ on 04/02/2016It IS protective, but quite bulky, not quite so comfortable, but look at it's size, and the little peg to secure the overhanging strap doesn't seem to line up precisely. Not as big a deal to me since I got it at a clearance price, and I change bands every now and again. I'm going to SAY I would recommend this to a friend, but only MAYBE.

Awkward fit

Posted by: abcd from on 04/02/2016It was solid and offered good protectection to the watch, but it was not comfortable and it impeded access to the crown dial. When even slightly flexing the wrist, it bumped against the back of the hand. I returned it.

Only negative is the oversize function dial is easy to push with regular movements resulting in a picture of the watch face storing on my iPhone picture gallery.

Could be SO much better

Posted by: Dallas1974 from on 04/01/2016I read reviews on this product beforehand and was even privy to the Kickstarter campaign started by Lunatik last year in advance of this watch band. Let me say that I would NEVER have purchased this had it not been about 50% off (just the 'gray' color). That being said, it does serve a purpose. It protects my watch very well. I am a firefighter and didn't want to have to be concerned about the watch all day long. I wanted to enjoy the full use of my Apple Watch and this offered me that. However, after having it for over a month now, I can honestly say, that's all it's good for. The rotating bezel works poorly. You really have to work with it. The band uses a traditional buckle type clasp that has been around for decades, but there is a protruding stud that you use to keep the excess band from flapping around. During this past month, it has become looser to the point that it takes very little effort to pull it out. A very poor design me thinks. So, for what I paid, it serves my needs. But I will not buy it again

Good protection

Posted by: FoosFight from on 04/01/2016This case/strap works well. Like other reviews, I do have trouble with the crown being pressed inadvertently. However, if worn on the right arm, this should be a non-issue. In fact, while working out, I have begun wearing it on the right arm. The case offers good protection for the body. Biggest issues for me, I thought the band would be more green than yellow, and turning the crown is finicky. I have not experienced issues with long changes of the band, but it will likely take 5 min to do so, and since I have not yet tried removing, I cannot speak to any issues with the screws.
