Overmissed Great Indie Artist

I honestly stumbled upon them over a random song on Pandora, and instantly fell in love with the group or should I say pair. Digital Daggers is a duo (female and male) comprised of Andrea Wasse and Space. Great female vocalist (that pronounces well so the lyrics are easy to understand), well thought out lyrics that can remind you of a poem, and all work together in a nice composition. Dark in tone both lyrics wise as well as acoustics. I've always have trouble putting artists into category of what type of music they are, but my best attempt would be alternative rock, acoustic, new wave, and/or electronica. Many who watched Vampire Diaries will know them for the song 'Head Over Heels', since I don't watch that I believe it is the opening song. Their songs have been featured on other TV shows such as Once Upon a Time, Pretty Little Liars, CSI: NY, and more.
This particular album is as the title states 'Mixed Emotions' is of the mixed emotions of love, pain, doubts, and hope. It is both haunting, and peaceful. Unlike previous albums of theirs, this one does have a song or two that is without lyrics (but not necessarily without the vocalist just no particular words). They work nicely to transition from one song and continue the feeling across the different emotions. Those songs are however shorter than their other songs, which average around 4 minutes or so in length. This makes their album just under 40 minutes worth of music, which is just slightly less than the average album length.
The CD case is your standard design. The graphics are simple, but effective. The booklet has all the lyrics inside for every song; the font is a little on the thin side, but still readable.
Music is fairly subjective but if you Lana Del Ray, Birthday Massacre, or Emilie Simon there is a good chance you'll like them.
