Depending on the results of your credit check, some carriers may require a spending limit on your account. Spending limits vary by carrier and on the credit evaluation.
Spending limit balances generally include the balance due from your last bill, plus any charges incurred since your last bill. If the monthly balance exceeds the spending limit, your service will be interrupted until a payment is made.
If you are assigned a spending limit, make sure to choose a phone and plan options with a monthly charge that is less than your spending limit. Otherwise, for example, if you have a $100 spending limit but select a $150 plan, your phone will never work.
If you have questions about a spending limit, please call the carrier.
