Do not cancel service with your current carrier until after your phone number has been successfully ported to your new carrier.
To transfer your number, you'll need to provide your ZIP code along with your current phone number and wireless account number. You can find your account number on previous monthly statements.
The information you provide today on BestBuy.com will be submitted to your new carrier.
If you choose to skip this step, you can call your new carrier after your order is complete, and ask to have your number transferred.

Numbers from multiple carriers or multiple accounts cannot be transferred.
Transferring a number from a landline to a mobile phone or device may not be possible online with all carriers. You may need to call your new carrier to complete that process.
