The camera is not really functional as a camera because its lense is on the front so your kid gets to take pictures sure...of them selves..The aps are okbut limited to amazon only. Getting connect to wifi was nt as easy as it should have been seeing as this is a kid use product. Getting onto the internet to go to game sites like club penguin and PBS Kids wasnt doable for my 7 yr old. He couldnt navigate to you tube to watch his animal planet stuff. Had to swap it out the first month because it wouldnt hold a charge. Now its going back because the screen wont come on- I am getting a refun /store credit and getting something else. the headache of dealing with it , and listening to my kid whine about what he cant do on it and that it wont come on is not worth the money - I will be getting him a samsung galxey tablet, and I know I will be less stressed. My child needs this to function he is in the hospital alot and needs to be entertained while waiting- I need something reliable .

Posted by: schnett from saint louis on 05/21/2013Got 2 of these tablets for my 9 & 6 year old for their birthdays. There are already kid apps loaded which is nice. Then there is a work-around to install apps from your Amazon App Store account.
Now my kids have a hard time getting their tablets away from their dad (and sometimes me). Only issue is no Google Play Apps can be installed.
