Operate your compatible Nikon camera at a distance with this Nikon ML-L3 4730 wireless remote, which features immediate-release and 2-second-release modes and a 16' range for flexible shot composition.
Worked as advertised!

I purchased this remote for my Nikon D5000 because I had some extra rewards zone money to spend. I thought for the price this was a good buy. My wife and I will be using it for family portraits without using a timer.
The remote is easy to use, just go into the menu and select the remote setting. Thats it! The discription was accurate as I have been able to use it at a distance of 16 feet infront of the camera.
The only thing I would like to see changed is the capability to for the IR signal to reach the camera's wireless sensor with your hand just slightly behind the camera (maybe 6 in or less), but that is just part of the technology. It's not Bluetooth.
Just remember for around $18 your going to get plastic. It is not the strongest material, but will last with care.

Includes' the Photographer

I love this! When I found out that this product I wanted to make sure when I purchase a new Nikon I would get this, to make sure when taking a picture everyone is included.
Also, I leave my camera on connected to the tripod, and at times I would take a picture by using this remote control without anyone seeing, great way to capture everyone at their best... and worst.

It's a simple device yet very useful. It beats setting the timer on the camera then running back.

Best Buy was very helpful with this product. When I originally discovered it my camera model was not listed. After calling support they confirmed it would work. Once I received it, I love it. It works great for family pics when everyone is setting their timers I just keep hitting the remote button. It's also great for taking pics when the camera needs to be perfectly still. Enjoy.

The wireless shutter release works great. It requires no setup except to change the shooting type on the camera. Point click and shoot, it's as easy as that. You will not be disappointed.

One quick setting on the camera ant it was ready to go. I wasn't sure if I needed the wireless dongle so I purchased both, ended up returning the wireless dongle. This only triggered the shutter the shutter times are set on the camera.

No problems -- great product

I was very surprised how easy this was to "set up." I simply took the remote out of the box, selected the appropraite options on my Nikon D5100 (remote shutter release option), then the remote synced up on its own. I did not have to do any sycing myself, which was great. Extremely user-friendly and easy to use. Great product!

i use this remote to take family pictures. it's a better option than the self timer that the camera includes. the price is low enough to make it a worth addition to my camera equipment.
