Just great music man, what else can you say?

Randall Bramblett is not the guitarist Eric Clapton is. Nor is he a storyteller like Harry Chapin. He doesn't play horns like Grover Washington or David Sanborn and he isn't as great a keyboardist as Keith Emerson or Rick Wakeman. But like all of the hall-of-famers mentioned above, he is just as talented in all of these areas including his ability to belt out a song just as explosive as the best. He's part rock & roll, part jazz, throw in r&b with a good dose of funk and you have the recipe for Randall Bramblett music. This album features one of his best compositions ever, "Get In, Get Out", a hard driving jazz-funked number that could rock a house or find itself on a progressive jazz station playlist. The first song, "God Was In The Water" is a powerful story that exudes airyness with religous overtones. "Peace In Here" is a catchy story about getting away from it all; probably something every musician or celebrity could relate to. "Vauge Child" is another example of songwriting that describes Randall's inner self. He is backed by his long-time sidekick, Davis Causey, a great guitarist that can rock like any southern guitarist or amaze with his jazz-guitarist style. They have been together since 1976 or so and if you get a chance to see them live, DO SO!
