e-Cycling West Virginia

In 2008, the state of West Virginia passed an electronics recycling law that requires manufacturers of certain electronic devices to finance a system of collection and recycling opportunities for West Virginia residents. . In the 2009-2010 West Virginia legislative session, Senate Bill 398 was passed banning electronics from West Virginia landfills, effective January 1, 2011.

The Texas Computer Equipment Recycling Act

The Texas Computer Equipment Recycling Act went into effect on September 1, 2008. The law requires manufacturers to provide Texas household consumers with free and reasonably convenient collection, re-use and recycling opportunities for certain devices.
