Timing means everything this time of the year. That's why we stand behind your holiday orders with a guarantee you'll receive them by Christmas Eve.

If you place a qualifying order* at BestBuy.com by 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 20, using Standard or Expedited shipping, or by 11 a.m. ET on Friday, December 21, using Express shipping, we guarantee that we will attempt delivery on or by December 24. If we don't, you will receive a $10 or $20 Best Buy digital coupon!

Ordering deadlines and shipping options

Make sure your gift arrives by December 24. The following table outlines shipping options for IN-STOCK ITEMS ONLY, which are marked "Usually leaves our warehouse in 1 business day" (see the graphic in the section above).

If your item is an oversized product, special order product, is on backorder, or if you're shipping to an address outside the 48 contiguous U.S. states, please see the deadline exceptions below.

Deadline exceptions

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii
Items sent via Standard shipping must be ordered by 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 1, 2007, to qualify for guaranteed Christmas delivery. For an extra charge, Express and Expedited shipping is available for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

International shipments
All items sent to Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico must be ordered by 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 1, 2007, to qualify for guaranteed Christmas delivery. We are not able to ship internationally to other countries. Both the shipping and billing address must be an address in the U.S., Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, or an APO/FPO address (Military). Please be sure to provide a street address (do not use a P.O. box).

Military shipments
All items sent to APO/FPO addresses must be ordered by 11:00 a.m. ET on Friday, December 7, 2007, to qualify for guaranteed Christmas delivery.

Oversized products
(not eligible for guaranteed Christmas delivery)
All oversized products must be ordered by 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 16, 2007, and must have an available delivery date of December 24 or earlier. This includes all major appliances, TVs 25" and larger (including some flat-panel TVs), entertainment furniture and other items requiring delivery. If your product requires delivery, you'll see this messaging on its detail page (shown here at right):

Backorders, special orders and other exceptions
(not eligible for guaranteed Christmas delivery)
If your item is a special order product, is on backorder, or if its shipping message reads anything besides "Usually leaves our warehouse in 1 business day," we cannot ensure December 24 arrival.
