The Tide: Release Notes: Muze 
Pummeling drums, soaring guitars, and screamo vocals are the hallmarks of Oceana's bone-rattling debut, TIDE. Hardcore comprises most of the band's aesthetic, but flights into melody, as on the chorus of album opener "The Accountable," set Oceana apart from the pack. The band can also be explorative, as on the searching psychedelic track "Come Again?" but again the experimentation merely puts a unique spin on Oceana's core element. Make no mistake: crushing metal is the main ingredient here.
