Free Geek Squad® In-Store Data Transfer Service when you buy a laptop from the Microsoft Premium Collection
Simplify the process of transitioning to a new PC with help from Geek Squad.
As part of this in-store service, an Agent will transfer the data from your current laptop or desktop PC, and import the data into the proper location on your new Microsoft Premium Collection laptop.
Follow these steps:
- Select a qualifying laptop, add it to your cart and place an order.
- Following your purchase, you will receive a standard order confirmation e-mail plus an offer redemption e-mail for the data transfer service.
- Please present the following items to a Geek Squad Agent inside a Best Buy store:
- Your old PC
- Your new Microsoft Premium Collection laptop
- Your order confirmation e-mail
- Your offer redemption e-mail

Additional details: Offer valid on in-store data transfer from your old PC to your new PC only. Data transfer is limited to the size of your new PC's hard drive. Files must be virus-free to be transferred. Software installation and/or transfer and data loss recovery is not included in the free data transfer service. Offer valid on qualifying laptops purchased 2/1/12–2/29/12.
