Using Reward Certificates Online or by Phone
Premier Silver Membership

Earning Points
You're eligible to begin earning points the moment you activate your membership on MyRZ.com.

In store:
To earn points when shopping in a Best Buy store, show your membership card at the register.

Online:
To earn points on your BestBuy.com purchases, you must:

Have a BestBuy.com account. Don't have one? Create yours now.
Add your 10-digit Reward Zone member ID to your BestBuy.com account. You can do this when you create your account, or during the checkout process on the Review & Submit page.
Sign in to your BestBuy.com account every time you shop. If you do not sign in, you will not earn points on your purchase.

Your member ID can only be saved to one BestBuy.com account at a time. If your member ID is already saved to another person's account — someone else in your household, for example — you will not be able to add it to your own account. You can add you member ID or remove your member ID from your BestBuy.com account at any time. If you have questions, call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) for assistance.

NOTE: Some longtime members may have fewer than 10 digits in their member ID numbers. If this is the case for you, simply enter zeros in front of your number so it totals 10 digits.

On phone orders:
Give your member ID to the Customer Service Representative who is assisting you when you call us.

You can conveniently check your points, view and print your reward certificates, set your account preferences, and view members-only offers by visiting MyRZ.com.

You'll also receive an account summary each time you receive a reward certificate. If you have questions, please contact us using any of these options:

The following items are considered non-qualifying purchases for which points will not be awarded: instant rebates and the value of mail-in rebates on purchases, purchases made for resale or paid with Reward Certificate, Best Buy gift card or Pitch In™ Card; sales tax; state fees; shipping charges; delivery charges; service charges; restocking fees; commercial purchases; other excluded charges; and certain items that are excluded in particular promotions. Reward Zone program points will be earned on Best Buy gift card purchases and Pitch In™ Card contributions, but not on Best Buy gift card or Pitch In™ Card redemptions. Gift card purchases and Pitch In™ Card contributions are excluded from all double, triple and similar point promotions. Members will earn 1 point for every $1 of gift card purchases. Other exclusions may apply.

Using Reward Certificates Online or by Phone
To redeem reward certificates online at BestBuy.com, enter the certificate number at checkout, where indicated. To redeem reward certificates over the phone, simply give the Customer Service Representative your certificate number. You must also provide a valid credit card (or gift card or Pitch In™ Card) number when using reward certificates online or by phone.

Reward certificates will be applied to your order before your credit card (or gift card or Pitch In™ Card), and before tax. Multiple reward certificates will be applied to your purchase in the order that you enter them. A maximum of 40 reward certificates can be applied to a single order.

If you choose to cancel or return an order, points will be reissued to your Reward Zone program account within 3 to 5 days. If for some reason Best Buy must cancel your order, a digital coupon for the amount of the reward certificate will be e-mailed to you. Or in some cases, we may reinstate your reward certificate. For this reason, it's a good idea to keep your reward certificate(s) until you've received your order.

Premier Silver Membership
To reach Premier Silver status, you must have $2,500 in eligible purchases at Best Buy or BestBuy.com during a single calendar year. Some exclusions apply; see Premier Silver Membership Rules for non-qualifying purchases. Once you have $2,500 in eligible purchases in a calendar year, you automatically become a Premier Silver member.

As a Premier Silver member, you'll earn a 25% point bonus on eligible Best Buy purchases. This means you earn 1.25 points for nearly every $1 you spend on qualifying purchases at Best Buy or BestBuy.com.

If you're a Reward Zone program MasterCard cardmember with Premier status, you'll earn a 50% point bonus on eligible purchases. This is in addition to the 2 points you earn for nearly every dollar you spend at Best Buy or BestBuy.com using your Reward Zone program MasterCard. This means you earn 2.5 points for nearly every $1 you spend on qualifying purchases at Best Buy or BestBuy.com when you use your card.

As a Premier Silver member, you get all the benefits of a regular Reward Zone program membership, plus additional benefits such as an extended return policy, free standard shipping at BestBuy.com, and more.
