Synopsis

National Lampoon's Stoned Age
A philosophical caveman discovers that there's more to life than sticks, stones, and brontosaurus burgers in this prehistoric comedy from cult director Adam Rifkin (The Dark Backward). Ishbo (Rifkin) isn't your average hunter/gatherer; in a world dominated by Neanderthals, his fellow tribe members openly mock his sincere attempts to advance the human race. Convinced that cave-dwelling beauty Fardart (Ali Larter) would fall for him if he could only come up with something truly revolutionary, Ishbo invents such useful items as toothbrushes, ladders, spoons, and pants to no avail. When using his brain fails to help him win the girl, Ishbo considers resorting to the tried and true method of simply dragging her away by her hair, though his dim-witted brother Thudnik (Hayes MacArthur) beats him to the punch. Later, an enemy tribe launches a surprise attack from the other side of the hill, prompting Ishbo to fall back on his smarts in hopes of saving his people and impressing Fardart. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Jackass: The Movie
Johnny Knoxville and his crew of fun-loving masochists bring their routines to the big screen in this feature adaptation of the popular but controversial MTV series Jackass. A crew of young men perform a variety of strange, painful, and often humiliating stunts for the amusement of themselves and those around them, including crawling across dozens of mousetraps while wearing rodent make-up, being rolled down bowling lanes on skateboards, racing in golf carts across an ancient driving range, giving themselves self-inflicted paper cuts, making snow cones out of urine, tightrope walking over live alligators, using uninstalled sanitary plumbing in a hardware store, terrifying Japanese pedestrians while wearing panda costumes, and much, much more. Johnny Knoxville, the show's creator and star, returns to head up this movie version of Jackass, along with series regulars Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Dave England, Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGhehey, and Brandon DiCamillo; Henry Rollins, Tony Hawk, and Spike Jonze are among the movie's guest stars. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Van Wilder: Freshman Year
Discover how seven year college senior Van Wilder earned his puckish reputation in this prequel detailing the freshman year high jinks that made history. When Van Wilder (Jonathan Bennett) enrolled in Coolidge College, he had no idea that following in his wealthy father's footsteps would be such a formidable task; the uptight dean has official banned partying on campus, and the student body is too busy studying to fight back. When Van Wilder discovers that every female student on campus has taken a vow of chastity, he declares that no cheerleader will go untouched, and no keg of brew will be left untapped. But freeing Coolidge College from the oppressive shackles of party persecution and sexual malaise won't be easy, and in order to accomplish his mission Van Wilder will have to put his studies on pause, and unleash some serious mischief. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Ghost Team One
Two ghost-hunting roommates recruit a sexy sidekick in order to vanquish a lust-filled demon. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
