It's a great way to get all the peanuts gang on one DVD, i just wish the volume from dvd was higher. Other than that issue its a good classic.

What truly needs to be said about the Peanuts TV specials? We've all seen them on TV about a million times. The only thing to discuss is how they turn out on blu-ray. If you're looking for a modern picture, you're not going to find it. There's not been any real remastering going on. It looks great for what it is, classic animation from the 60s and 70s, all flaws present. Does it really fully take advantage of the blu-ray format? Maybe not, but if you understand that going in, you're unlikely to be disappointed. The audio is perhaps the true disappointment. I'm no audio engineer, so maybe there just isn't much to be done with the source material, but it's amazing how flat everything sounds, especially in comparison to the menu music on each disc. It would have been nice to have some more special features as well. Granted, there is a bonus episode on each disc, but commentaries would have been great, as well as some background featurettes on the production of each feature. You won't be blown away from the specs of these discs, but you will be by the content. If you have it on DVD, it might not be worth the upgrade, but if you're a first time buyer of Peanuts specials, this is the place to start.
