I had one befor in the 5500 series that worked easily and I could tell if I was running out of paper This series seems like it is harder to see what left for paper. I recently printed some photos which turned out beautifully. It seemed as though the printer continued to want to print photos and didn't change back to regular printing, or recognize that I didn't have photo paper in the machine. Overall, it serves my purpose right now. Ink seems to be used quickly. I have kept track of ink usage for years and I run out much quicker now? What's that all about? Am I paying more for less ink in the cartridges?

It has been easy to print my own photos of a mural I painted so I could put together a history of the project. The captions were easy to print. My husband finds it easy to print his articles and reports for his volunteer position. I am pleased at the printing whether using copy paper or photo paper.

I like the ePrint option which is how I use it other than via Wi-Fi. I wish it was faster, but I guess that's based on how much more I want to pay. Overall I like the printer. Scanning is also pretty good as well as the touchscreen display!
