Works great

Posted by: Mikey from on 02/26/2016I needed to turn the volume up and down and my receiver off and on from my pool area. The Remote that came with the receiver would not work from my pool area so I use this to reach my receiver for my pool area and it works great.

Laggy wake-up & dumbed down app

Cool product. Works great.

As the other reviewer mentioned, there was a problem with iOS9, but two days after I bought the unit, they had an update and now it works great with my iPhone 6 and my iPad Mini. Setup was super easy. I find that I use the app itself as my power remote while the small amount of keys on the base unit are nice to have for quick access. This is also one that even my wife finds easy to use.

Cool idea but poor execution

Posted by: Sharkrider from on 10/25/2015Setup for Panasonic tv and Apple tv was quick and simple. Where I ran into problems was first with the iOS app, RCA hasn't updated their app since June and has serious issues with ios9. I had to use my Samsung tablet to grrr the app to work. Next I was unable to find my audio system in their list of products, which was fine, but what they need is a code search feature to find the appropriate codes rather than blindly hunting away. Also there is very limited support online for this product. It has great potential, but at the time of writing be wary.
